The effort to get up yesterday with half a side was amazing, Patty O'neil was a bit crook yesterday and would be the first to admit he is an outside player but every side needs one.
Jarred Weyland is a superstar and teams dont pay him enough respect!
Jervois have just wasted a bucket load of cash on selfish players who only care about themselves.
Todd Blucher in the ressies king hit one of our young fellas and wont play again this season. He's a bloody coward!!!

exactly my point in better words!!!

the young fellaz stood up yesterday!

Totally agree with you FootyWiz81 on Patrick Oneil. Cannot understand how he makes the RMFL Team on the long weekend.
Runs around like he his a champion.

Jarred Weyland is in the top 5 most important players at Ramblers

If i had to make a list i would say

most important -
Girardi - Be stuffed without him
J. Weyland - always on the bottom of the pack getting the ball
Kay - Ramblers looked a bit lost in structure without him when he had a bit of time off, looked a bit scared out there on saturday which is understandable.
Rumbelow - If he goes down with injury it might be end of hope for back to back, with what looks like new backup ruckman being a 6ft guy who only won when ball was thrown to him.
Viney- if Girardi doesnt bite you Viney will.

now that is mine and if you take 2 of those players out i think the chooks might drop as premiership favourites.

Patrick has been a ultra important player for us for around 6 years. I know other clubs have a hate of anything that starts with O' & ends in neil, but they are rated very highly at Ramblers, & even if he has the occasional bad day, we will take that as its better then somes good ones. (Still kicked 2 goals). The thing that I would say is being over looked here is the fact the Jervois were near full strength, with heaps to play for & plenty of feeling towards the RFC, yet couldn't get the result against a seriously undermanned Ramblers! Not to sure the Committee out there would be overly happy with their outlay just yet.

Bloody oath they wouldn't be happy. They could finish bottom the way they are going. What shocked me was last week Spud Hansen and Buckets Burkett both played A Grade, Buckets is their A Grade captain. Yet Saturday they both played B Grade. I thought the week before they both played OK. Not sure how the club would fell these fella's getting dropped while Squire etc play A Grade and give nothing!!
Also heard a couple of bad incidents on Saturday of Jervois people refusing to pay at the gate and setting up their own BBQ and beer etc. How childish is that!!

Yeah at Ramblers. Pretty hard to stop a car of blokes driving in when it's one bloke on the gate though. You aren't exactly going to stand in fron of the car!

Happened (allegedly) & if found to be true, is one of the most pathetic things ever! The Jervois Football club should do something about it, unless they want to be perceived as condoning this type of behaviour.

If they want their club tarnished by the brush of some idiotic people, then they will do nothing. I for 1 dont have any problem with the club itself or its administration, but they now need to stand up for whats right, just as you thought you were doing for Mr Ladhams. That would show true leadership & be a positive influence on the small minded.

Noticed Weetra has been cleared on the 7/7/2011. Is this too late to be able to play this year?

its my first year in RMFL at the chooks coming from the SAAFL div5 footy, an jervois remind me of a salisbury west/wingfeild royals...

just shocking how you can play a brand of footy that almost consists of nothing to do with footy (ressies).
i received a taste of what they are about, and its not it the spirit of the game.
i don't want to disrespect another club, but from what i hear every other club feels the same??

anyway i hope they head in the right direction an get with the program on standards... expecially after nearly bringing down an entire league.

Heard Luke Harrowfield did his ankle pretty badly at Pirie on the weekend. Could be out for a while. Not really what Imps want at present given the form he has been in.

The worst thing to come out of this whole ladhams case is that the league and everyone has been talking about that, not about how close this league is, Ramblers and Imps have beaten everyone i think Mannum may have aswel, and i would say there are 6 teams that can easily make a grand final this season, dont often see that this late in the season i know last year it was Ramblers Imps and Mannum in contention, the year before Imps Mannum the year before Ramblers Mypo there hasnt been a season so tight for a long time, be great to see and that is also terrable news on Luke im sure he will be back soon he is a very strong player and would do anything to be out there at the moment.

I've played against Salisbury West and played for Jervois a few years ago and the teams were nothing alike. Now things may have changed since, but I would be very disappointed to learn that they have stooped that low!
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Behind the play incidents are deplorable cowardly acts that take place in most leagues and on a continual basis unfortunately...

How does everyone see the season unfolding. It looks like it could be anyone's year from the outside looking in and it will come down to (in my not-so humble opinion) who has the best form at the right time of the year and who can keep their best players on the park. Another poster gave us Rambler's 'MVP's' who are the key players from other teams, of which, their team cannot do without?
