Thats a fair effort. Where is he from?

Big bloke or quick etc.

Recruited from Happy Valley at the start of last year. About 6'3" and solid. Can't run too much due to knee injuries in juniors, but once the ball hits his hands, it sticks!

Kicking action is awkward, but from what I saw on Saturday, his accuracy has improved.

Roger acted like a professional and never responded, so credit to him, bit of an anti climax of a game but Im sure there will be another chance to rectify this.

Agree there was nothing sinister in it. Just a few of the Kangy faithful thinking they were funnier than they actually were (Rove McManus syndrome). Some good one liners got out though.

Pretty sure Roger James will be able to get over someone from the bar calling out "Hey Roger, you're sh*t". Don't think anyone at the Kangy bar has played in an AFL premiership.

Diddy.

He cant be to bad a kick as he has kicked over a 100 goals. A 100 more than most blokes I know. Thats an awesome effort.

He is obviously a solid grab if he doesn't run.

He moves okay and has a reasonable leap as well, they do deliver the ball very well to him and he leads to the right areas. Good player anyone know how old he is he could be a handy pick up for a central club.

He would definately be worth a chat, if I was a Central club I would definately talk to him.

He's 21. I wouldn't imagine he would consider going to another club, all of his mates from school are at Kangy which was the reason he went there in the first place.

Think a few of the Kangarilla boys (Gutinik included) travel over the Hill from Happy Valley for a bit more than a leisurely drive. If anyone was interested in him and others Tex, it might be a case of 'Show me the $$$$!'.

I am sure that the $$$ can be arranged from a Hahndorf , Mount Barker even Blackwood could do with a player or players from Kangy of his quality.

Neither, and I dont really think you are on the same planet, what makes you think I am him or I have had 17 goals kicked on me, I have watched him play twice this year when they have played meadows and in the last game he was impressive. And I think the last point I made suggested I thought those central clubs previously mentioned would pay the money and needed someone like Guitnick.

most kangarilla's players are not getting paid, many are local, and have been there for a long time, most of the recruits have a connection with the club one way or another through friends or family and it has just been good recruiting.

Even Micheal Radais, one of the more high profile recruits is a local.

This is by no means a dig at the backlines in country div, but is it a bit unusual that there is a bunch of guys that have kicked a genuine sh#tload of goals between them (about 440 goals between 6 goalkickers!!!!!), obviously including guitnik's 100? Or is it a case of the lower teams letting thru so many 6-pointers?
Are fullbacks doing their job?

Have spoken to a few neutral Hills Supporters that were at the Kers/Kang game, that have also labelled Kangarilla's supporters behaviour on Saturday as disgraceful. Particularly the constant harassment of the James brothers spoilt what could have been a good game. Kersbrook have had no constant abuse from any other Hills side this season and even the TV faithful were respectful. But if constantly yelling out 'Roger you're Sh*t' is common practice, perhaps I need to go to Hackham High like the rest of the Kangarilla faithful and get re-educated.

Surely you would think boys of the James' calibre would have heard harsher calls that Roger you're Sh*t coming from the sidelines. 'Big name players' are always going to be targetted by opposition supporters because they are easy targets, im sure the Kangarilla supporters paid their $6 as well as you did, if its no more than calling a bloke sh*t, let them enjoy themselves.

I have it on very good authority that EVERY player at Kangarilla is paid per game, may not be much for the individual but add it all together and it is a fair budget per year for the club ( add on top of this contracted players, which they do have ). I can't remember the system but it is very fair and reasonable, if they perform they get rewarded from the best player to the worst but they all do get rewarded. The club doesn't hide this from anyone , it is a fair way to do it and it is obviously working - good luck to them.
