since steve lewis took over coaching a few weeks back, his son ryan who has been playing for norwood ressies last couple of years & 3 others have been playing for yank lately, rumour has it, yank are chasing a former captain to coach the club next year

You mean a former captain of yank, I couldn't see Paul Carpenter having time to be a coach these days!!

I don't know where this rumor about McLaren leaving to go back to the SFL started from but there is no way they would ever go back to that league. Why do you think they left the Southern Football League in the first place.

Ah didn't realise Sharky meant ex Yank captain. I would have thought they'd want to hang onto Lewis with all his Norwood connections, but then again i presume hes probably only agreed to do it for the rest of this season.

Here are my tips for the weekend.

Willunga over Encounter Bay in a tight one
Mt Compass over Strath easily
Langhorne Creek over Myponga comfortably
Victor Harbor over McLaren in a tight one
Yank and Saints to draw

I've barely got a tip wrong this year but if Yank and Saints end up having a draw I'm gonna have to find a bookie who's willing to take bets on GSFL results.

I think I'll pass..

FM - Surely if Thompson has been out at training and there was a week he was gonna make his return it would be this week. Especially given the Bays stitched them up last time round.

I'm going to call it early and state that Willunga will beat Langhorne Creek in a couple of weeks. I watched them play on the weekend and they were pretty awesome. Even after the game the boys said they weren't that happy with the game and they still have a few things they need to work on.
Even though the Bays were down a few of their better players, Willunga were unstoppable.
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!
