Tyson Edwards has apparently signed with Meningie in the RMFL,connection thru Brodie Martin and his brother used to coach them. Will be pretty hard to stop at this level.

Dad's favorite footballer... He'll have to find a new one...

Now! The Mortlock Shield!

Who's gonna win?

Tell colcol to switch alliegances and get on the Hartlett train

I think Great Flinders will win the shield. They have some stand out new players into the side that played last year.
Having said that I wouldn't mind seeing the draw cos I can't remember what happened last year, so my above comment is subject to change (man's perogative)

PL v GF in the first game of the carnival will decide who plays in the final (as both play far west after that). So big game first-up. The rest is anyones guess with MW and EE to fight out for the other final spot.

Coming over to the West coast (Coffin Bay) for a bit of fishing and R&R, cant find a draw for the PLFL anywhere, can someone help. I would like to see a Marble Range home game if possible. Staying from July 9th for 4 weeks.

On my programme it has MR have 3 home games in a row during that period. v Tasmans at Wangary July10, Marble Range v Lincvoln South July 17, Marble Range v Mallee Park July 24.
I wouldn't call watching MRFC R&R , I would call it torture.

Must admit I am once again choking on my cornflakes (actually porridge this cold morning) whilst reading the article on the inside back page.
Where in the hell did this idea of a treble come from ? Just goes to prove you can make anything out of anything if you want to. Just as well the Mrs bought some toilet paper this week cos it will save me having to use the Times again so I will just light the fire with it instead. FFS !!!

And yes the ol '61 carnival was there. Oh now I get the idea of the treble - it was a lead in to feature a particular person in a story
