Myponga - More showers, trainers room, heaters!!! :D
Goolwa - Bigger shower area, toilet, trainers room built on?
Encounter Bay - Not to bad
Strathalbyn - A toilet door? Too much to ask? :D
Mount Compass - Not to bad
Mclaren - Good
Willunga - Good
Langhorne Creek - Very Good! =D>

Can anyone think of anything else?

Not a bad summary there Damian. Goolwa needs a whole new room for away games, horrible little thing.
Other than that i reckon ur pretty much spot on. Would be nice if Willunga could have their changerooms on the same side as the clubrooms but cant be done.

Willunga over summer are renovating the clubrooms however. Will be changing the position of a few things inside and eventually building a deck facing the oval. Should look good when completed.

If I was still playing there would be 2 things decked at Willunga

Cheers BJ
Wouldn't be too hard,
cos as soon as Portlock went down, Benny would be straight there and Bang down with him
then I would run away, stand by the umpire, show him the blood, get sent off, hit the showers and go home.
retire from footy, sell the house and move to WA and work in the mines and find a real big mate

Not necessary to run away tho, Mcgowan would have already got you! :-" :)

Sorry BB, unfortunately for Bays those boys have flown the nest for good and the club needs to move on.
With Bassani out of coaching calculations, former assistant coach at Victor has inside running.
Great contacts at Sturt.

Is A Heuskes to go around again? You could do worse that look at him as coach, he's got all the requirements and a few more to make a great fist of it. His 1 year coaching stint with Gepps Cross was great.

I think you will find LF will coach again A-mum.
As for me very un-likely I will go around again, who ever does do the job will have a great side to work with. They will only loose 3 players next year and only one of them was in the top 5 in out B&F count. We had a very young side and only missed out on finals by 4% after defeating all teams in the comp but the Creeks.

I remember you saying that earlier teamwork... about you having a young side.... so I have been saying that Saints 17's could be the ones to beat next year. Having had such a good close Senior Colts comp this year I'm sure they would have benefited from that as well.

Ben Baxter messaged me yesterday and informed me the one thing missing from his trophy cabinet is a state guernsey........HOWEVER he turns 35 (i thought he already was) in 2 years and is keen to go and get himself a superrules state guernsey so he would then be complete.

If that doesn't work out for him BJ, maybe he could go see his mate Portlock and swap one of his Mail Medals for one of Portlock's state jumpers and then they could both retire to the front bar of the Victory.

No tips
But we do have this weekends activity's for all GSFL Clubs

WILLUNGA
All past and present players to bring their premiership medasls to willunga Oval on Saturday Afternoon.
BHP will then Melt them down and pay $500 per ounce. 50% of that to players and 50% to the Demons Club.
The other 50% will be donated to International Monetary Fund to help kick start the economy. ( I know the maths are wrong
but have a sense of humour) All players to then report to Herman Lucas's House

Mt Compass
All players and supporters to meet at the old Dairy on sunday to work out WHO DECIDED THAT TUGGING ON COWS TEATS
WAS A GOOD WAY TO MAKE MONEY. mORE IMPORTANTLY DECIDE IF IT WAS NIFTY NEV WHO STARTED IT

Myponga
All players to report to Myponga Beach with a bucket and spade on Saturday Morning.
Fill bucket with sand ....Go to Oval and sprinkle sand liberally in the wet patches.
Repeat process until beach has no sand.
You are also invited to the Mt Compass dairy to assist Compass boys

Encounter Bay
All Players to report to Oval Saturday AFTERNOON with Mobile phone.
Each player to ring friends until one of them agrees to Coach in 2009
The first player to get a yes is to shout EUREKA.
THEN ALL DRIVE TO MYPONGA BEACH WITH BUCKET AND SPADE TO CELEBRATE
AND BUILD SANDCASTLES.
Ring Police on mobile phone and report that all the sand has been stolen.

Goolwa
Report both Saturday and Sunday
Saturday and Saturday night each player is to visit the nearest housing development ( may be in Strath)
and I will give you a tip wear red shoes. Pinch 150 bricks each.
Bricks to be taken back to Oval in readiness to build new visitors change rooms on Sunday

Strathalbyn
All weekend is red shoe day
All residents of Strathalbyn to wear Red Shoes all weekend.
There is a BBQ saturday Night in the new housing development.
This will be an allnighter and you must prevent people from pinching bricks

McLaren
Players to report to Petruccis Vineyard where the Pope will bless all Players and the New Coaches
Then visit Clarence Hill ( note the new coaches name...Hill) where there will be wine tasting
Lunch at the Barn
As you can see they have a pleasant day.
2 reasons
1. Have done very well in their Coaching appointments
2. Pre Season will be so bloody hard

Langhornes
All players to report to Gordon Tonkins place on Sat Morning to work out a strategy to beat
Herman Lucas in the Presidency race. assisination is permitted
George Bush will be guest speaker.

Yankalilla.
Saturday is the annual recruitment day.

All males between the age of 16 and 25 to be kidnapped and locked in the Church camp at Carrackilinga and brainwashed
into playing Footy for Yank
Players to dress in tiger suits and guard the perimeter of camp for the weekend

Victor
No Not a Sunday drive to Victor
A Sunday drive to Glenelg.
Look at the Glenelg Oval and stare wistfully and dream about the 1990's
Lifeline will be contacted and a representative will be there.
Please steal the tiger in the foyer and drop off at Carrackilinga on the way back
