Wow that is unbelievable. The Tigers will be gutted, and i believe the game was played at Mypo as well.

I think this is the 2nd year in a row the Tigers have lost an Elimination after being favourites and beating the other side weeks earlier in a minor round game. Dont think they'd be a happy lot down at Tigerland at the moment.

Will be interesting to hear if Morris from Ramblers comes up this week for the game against the Roos, i've heard he may be risked.

A slight upset, given that Jervois would have been favourites because of their "big game" form of the last 4 years. But Imps certainly have the players to be contenders this year, and the game was being played at Imperials home game, Johnstone Park, so that was an advantage for them as well.

Anyone got a winner and margin for Ramblers/Mannum today? I presume would have been fairly comfortable victory to the Roosters.

To answer my own question, Ramblers defeated Mannum by 10 goals (courtesy of country footy website). Ramblers to play Jervois this week at Meningie, would be good to see Ramblers win and make an all MB grand final, which hasn't happened for 20 or so years.

So after the whole season its came down to the three teams that everyone would have thought from the start.... My prediction is that Jervois will get rolled this week by Ramblers.
The roosters have got the midfield to match it with Jervois and a genuine Full forward

Dont worry hills you didnt get a vote, you need to get a kick to do that.
Dissaponiting loss on the weekend, and with our bs having a good win, i could see a few changes. If we keep the same backline i could see us going out in straight sets.

Thats a fair effort by Morris. The lad is obviously very talented, will be interesting to see if he tries out at Sturt against next season.

Quite surprised to see Viney not in the top votegetters, unless he was one of the others to get 12. I doubt many people would have predicted Jagodonik to be Jervois' top vote winner with guys like Hill, Trevor Rigney and Ewer in the side.

from talking to him i think he will try again at sturt next year.
viney didnt poll till well into the year but did pick up a few by the end of the season, cant remember how many though.

i thought hill would have picked up a few more as well, he only polled in about two games. considering he played state and was plabest under 21 at the carnival.

BUT lets not forget it is a mail medal count and that the umpires pick the votes, and who the hell knows what goes through their heads at times?? you would think they have some idea about what goes on out there!
Is anyone going to stop the Jervois juggernaut or will they take it out again this year?? They know how to win the big games and it seems they have the wood on imps. Ramblers could be a better bet of knocking them off.
Maybe the Imperials have given you your answer on this...
