What about a mid-season review!

West: Undefeated says it. If Nowak is leaving, could cost them more than most think. Too much ball winning to be done by Sawford and Smith.

North: Have pushed West both times, probably a more balanced and traditional side than West. I think will lose to Roos tomorrow.

Roopena: Very bad start to the year but older fellas starting to get hungry again. IF Oliver, Smith and Grund return over the coming weeks, expect a completely different Roopena for the run in.

Central: Might scrape fourth. In a rebuilding stage but doubt they can win a flag in the near future.

South: Are playing better football than last year, hard work by Hole paying off. Their 17s and 14s are struggling considering they have won the last 2 u/14 flags. Where have they gone??

Weroona Bay: Struggling :D . If the three players that are looking to jump ship stay, I can see them coming home and taking fourth.

Goal Kicking: Nathan Covino (West)
Whyalla News Medal: Dean Storic (Roopena)
Grand Final: North Vs Roopena

Central and Weeroona Bay drew yesterday. 12.15 apiece. West thumped South.

Hahaha. Doubt it. He will be playing for the Northern Zone in July though. Get down to Pirie!

Geoff Stam is looking for another club. Quality midfielder but has had enough of young lads getting a game before him, despite being a previous Whyalla News Medal winner.

Good young midfielder. Don't know about his off-field issues and whether he has beaten those demons, but he was a promising junior.

No, obviously someone on here does though!
As for rat bag, think he may have had some problems with a parental figure. Not sure on the details. Can certainly play the game from memory. May have to swim to training.

solomontown have plenty of dough so they will probably fly whoever they get over here. Plenty of people have been talking about it as it was broadcast on the saturday morning sports show a couple of weeks ago.

Don't know the lad but Edey kicked 100 goals in the under 17s 2 years ago, didn't know he was now a midfielder.

edit: North beat Roopena yesterday 13.5 to 8.14.

Accuracy counts.

Yeah, he would have kicked most of them from the midfield. Lol. Mick Harvey kicked 150 swapping off the ball to the forward line in the under 17s a few years back.
