Apparently Luke Ellis, ex - South Adelaide and more recently West Gambier trying to get a gig in the GSFL again. Anyone heard the same - was very close to going to Myponga a couple of years ago.

Hes definently trying to get a playing coach job in the Gsfl. Victor will by tip! Myponga did interview him but i dont think he was close to signing, didnt have the $$$ he was after.

I can confirm Victor having been ringing players from the SFL about their movements next year. Some players were contacted before their finals campaigns had ended! Interesting that they are chasing players before a coach has been appointed...

The rumour about Rhett is the funniest thing I have ever heard, I know him very very well and I can tell you all he will not be coaching next season he wants to do his triple m gig during the footy season, so unless victor can come up with 40k or more they are no chance, I still can't stop laughing hahaha...

No possibility he could be doing both? Coaching a country side isn't a full time job?

I'm guessing the club would want him there on game day.. If he's working on triple m I would assume that would be something to do with commentating footy on the weekends.

bays spoke to rhett and a2m is very correct, no hope for atleast the next 2 years, tripple M have rapped him up. Would have been great for the gsfl to have him at any club but sorry boys no chance.

Heard the bays phoned Scott Burns, asked him to be player coach, he declined

Then they rang Scott West, he declined

Then Rhett Biglands, he declined

So they went back and re-signed the old coach

Wish Scott West played in the GSFL, be good to see a different slow player who actually gets a hard ball get mentioned in this forum, other than Portlock!
