Mid 70s just a bit before my time. I've got a copy of Central's 75th year book that came out in the mid 90s though.

Not fulfilling requirements set by the coach. Was warned many times bout his training ethics, and last night he wouldn't do a 10min running drill as he didn't train tues cos he was sick( had used that excuse way too many times) he told the coach to tear up his contract. So he is no longer a Mitcham player.

Well, can't say I'm surprised. I don't think Ken Burton would be surprised. Pity because has talent but I've rarely seen him play to his potential.

For a midfield coach did nothing. It's disappointing cos he is a top bloke but so bloody lazy.

Ok thanks. have since heard west beat roo's by a couple of goals
Pretty uninspiring game on Sunday, not much intensity in the game. West just seemed to be coasting. They will get smashed by North next week if they play like that again.
Will Westies smash North again this week or will the tables turn? Either way you can pencil them in for this years GF.
A 10 point win to West last time they played is hardly a smashing!
I see Westies smashed North again

I think bar20 was referring to the weekend's result, the quote you are referring to was from the week before the match.

Shannon Winders from West leads the 9 star ratings ahead of Lawrence (North) and Hutchins (South) so those 3 sound good at this stage. 8)

Big weekend for Roopena, celebrating some early 90s premierships. Chris Williams and Harry Huber are 2 of the big names back in town for a couple of days.

Love to see South spoil the party.
