Toddies beat SES in a close encounter at Dorward Saturday. We made 239 thanks to 85 from Hope and 70 odd from Bacon. Fridge took 4 wickets and Stiffy took 3. In reply SES fell about 12 runs short after good knocks from Fridge 50 and Lunch 84. New bloke for us, Johnno took 3 and bowled well and Blighty and Hopey took a couple each. Great days cricket apart from the flies and the fact we didn't finish until half seven!

Great work Haje, how many did you get? Got the last exam tonight, Issues In Accounting Theory, then home tomorrow to coincide with an umcoming race meeting. You still got "training" this week with Hendo Shield on?

Did anyone get the chance to read one Mr C Holmes' letter in the times last Thursday?
Does this bloke have nothing to do besides stirring the pot?
Firtsly Mr Holmes can I say to do a bit of research before you make a fool of yourself in the future.
He states that Tulloch, Sunline, Kensington Town (try Kingston Town), Super Impose and Rain Lover were all champions, which I agree with but how many melbourne cups did they win between them? the answer is 2. Rainlove in 68 and 69
To state she won two melbourne cups and was gifted a third the folowing year shows this bloke is commenting on something he knows nothing about. I can tell you they dont gift you a melbourne cup.
Look Craig sit back in your living room watch the ashes and leave the pot alone.

We beat Waybacks, we batted 1st 9/156, & bowled them out for 93ish. Great bowling by Struddy, 4/10 from 10 overs, including 5 maidens. Also well batted to Rob Madden, (in his 2nd innings, got bowled on a no-ball when on only 2ish), went on to make 24, when we were heaps for bugger all, & Corey Stephens at the end too, with 30 something. Bit puzzled as to why Spook didn't bowl his 10, bowled well i thought, also Corey Grove got a few.

G'day Samuel. I made a solid 4 mate and then proceeded to lose my off stump. Good to hear you'll be back shortly, we may be both suiting up in the B grade together the way things are going. There will be a 'training' thursday night so look forward to seeing you there. Good luck with the exam, what a thrilling subject!

Heard a rumour that scoob has quit cricket...... can anyone confirm?
If so.... been a great servant of the game.... would have played at the top for 16 odd years I reckon..... been a great servant of his club and assoc. for years..... remember him scoring 180 odd against us at Ravendale 2 one day.... one of the best big hitting innings Ive ever seen.... put Colin Pople onto the Hockey Fields several times!!!

Rovers far to good on sunday, took the game very seriously and they were keen to give everyone a send off, which is great, when your playing for $1000 no point in stuffing around, great of them to then come to the tasman and have a few rounds with us!!

LSCC still dosnt and cant win premierships in november!

On the contrary Bystander, advised Ash @ 9am this morn that Chook Fauser & Richard Dawe available, T.Dodd dead keen & trying to get out of work Sat morn. Josh Mahoney back from uni for few weeks & keen for a run in the B's.Most others working Sat morn. Myself & Hogan would've gone but can't knock back a sheep & pig on the spit (sheep is just for Hogan!) along with 6 hours of all & anything you can drink on Uncle Sam's account! Won't have to work too hard to get us out Sun WAD!

For the record Wollar went 2 for 3 including a line shot to right in the first that moved so quickly I hardly saw it. Harvey got crusified again by ordinary fielding and some good hitting by a good side. Credit where its due Coyotee, Shields were again impressive and are certainly flag favs. Most over rated player in the game at the minute is certainly Wilky who apperars stuggling for motivation on the mound. Good to see him hit well tho and hopefully that form continues
Seams the coyotee crowd has a short memory when it comes to players leaving clubs as well. Wasn't that long ago Coyotees were screaming over the treatment Wilky was getting from Shields supporters when he left them. Wollar goes to Shields and you guys do the same. Smart move. Indians too good on Sunday and again Sundays playing havoc with both sides. Indians missing three and Saints four due to work and drinking commitments. JJ ejected from the game for Drop punting his helmet after an umpiring decision  and roughly half a dozen spectators made for quite a fun afternoon. Thanks to the Indians boys for the good spirit the game was played in and looking forward to the next outing. Haje, look forward to a Sunday off and a beer with you guys Friday night. Timmy vs Shannon should be good to watch again. Both of them need to start looking after their catchers tho.

wilkinson is without doubt the best player going around.
waller isnt much and our banter from the sidelines ads some intrest to an otherwise very boring day. shields are well drilled but lack talent. Indians are an old team now and saints have no depth.

He is a shoe in then to get selected...
His technique and patience will serve him well in those 2 day games. From memory, games are 100 overs per side. Bloody long day when you chase leather all day in 35degree heat..
