Haven't things turned around at tigerland.
Firstly congratulations to Watherston, the Smith brothers, Hull and Polkinhorne for their signature, we welcome them with open arms and appreciate their involvment in boosting the image of the club and inviting more to come and have a look at the new club. Brett in particular has been terrific in talking to other players and is right behind the tiger resurgance.
The big two recruits from Ramblers are yet to be done, but it seems a matter of time which is encouraging.
Sam Read and Steve Adderton will be spoken to over the weekend and we hope a deal can be done there.
Ben Bartley returns and Lydamore and Bryant have indicated they will be a force with the right pre-season. With Jenkins back from injury the spine could be Watherston, Read, Hull, Adderton, Jenkins.
If anyone is interested in doing a run a few of the lads have been doing some road running on wednesday nights.
The family christmas show is coming up in the next couple of weeks, anyone is welcome to come along and see the difference, experience the new culture and mingle with our new and old supporters.
If anyone is interested or would like any information they can give me a private message on here.

Sounds like Dads Army to me Tiger, the future is in the youth - what advances has the club made in this respect?

Sorry to dissappoint lads, the Rainbow Vs Sargeant match up wont happen, Work Commitments keeping Scoob at bay. Wayback side to play Charlton:

C.Grove
L.Hollitt
S.Tyler
A.Bascombe
G.McGuire
P.Newman
M.Roberts
B.Simpson
N.Frost
J.Frost
L.Davidson

Best of luck for Sunday to both teams, not a good one to win. $1000 was handy but beware the jinx, after we won last year we only won one more game for the rest of the season.

G'day all, first post for the year to add to my half a dozen from last season! Main reason for writing is have been asked to Captain the A's Hend. Shield side, PL to play Kimba in Kimba Sat week(25th). Second eleven playing up the road at Buckleboo. Would appreciate club captains & players to ask around at tomorrow's games as to player availability & get back to me on 0438 687 004. Is good game has been shifted from Ad test wkend, but doesn't give us much time to get organised as they want to print the teams in Tues times next wk. Also if anyone has any suggestions on possible players or someone they think deserves a game let us know. Look forward to being in-undated with phonecalls!! Ha Ha! Cheers boys. Smithy.

Who won baseball yesterday?
We had an even battle with shield on fri night and the first dig cost us dearly. Other than that there was nothing between the two sides. Believe me shields are not that good. All the other sides will get stronger as we progress yet they are full strrength.

Good game of cricket yesterday....
Rover posted a great score of 210 of the 45 overs.... Souths in reply at one stage 7 for 60.... ended up makin a respectable 180 due to the cocks at the end of the batting line up.... Sincock x2 and Hancock..... credit must also go to the pitch curator.... seemed to play pretty true and had 400 runs scored in 90 overs.... No tips = No LS....
Good concept... the Tumby boys seemed top enjoy it.... talk yesterday was rife of a merger between the two the 2 associations....seriously how would it go?? whats everyones thoughts???

the idea would be good grub but rovers would be the only side that would be competative here. we would end up with 4 teams of the tod river standard.
ses the top side have no one available for Kimba, who else has no one available?

Starting to sound like there won't be any Henderson Shield this Sat!

Toddies beat SES in a close encounter at Dorward Saturday. We made 239 thanks to 85 from Hope and 70 odd from Bacon. Fridge took 4 wickets and Stiffy took 3. In reply SES fell about 12 runs short after good knocks from Fridge 50 and Lunch 84. New bloke for us, Johnno took 3 and bowled well and Blighty and Hopey took a couple each. Great days cricket apart from the flies and the fact we didn't finish until half seven!

So Dickiebird I think Toddies are now equal top in the A's and Toddies B grade won Saturday as well!

And Coyotes got flogged Friday night.

You think Toddies are equal top?

I know ses have 3 wins, ls have 2 wins ,tr have 1 win and a poor percentage. so check your figures because you are last, not equal top.

Dickie .... Tod RIver beat LS the other week.... if they won on Saturday 1 + 1 = 2 wins.... they would currently be in third spot on percentage....equal top with SES and LS...... dont mess with Haje when it comes to the numbers game!!!!
