our wonderful council at its best, poor effort.
Cant beleive A grade cricket is being played on the High School, we played there in B grade the other week and it is the worst oval in lincoln. The A grade should go to the Primary and the B grade should stay at the HS.

Watched Tasman’s Vs Charlton in the a's yestie...Not a bad game to watch under the conditions they played in. Blowing an absolute gale across the ground and then there was thick smoke over the oval making the conditions to play in even harder. Charlton bowled 20 overs then the teams had to abandon the oval due to a landing helicopter which they thought was landing on the oval but instead landed in the Croatian club.
As I said good cricket though under the bad conditions, good to see.

You're right there OC, shocking conditions. Unfortunately another 2nd place finish, but things are looking up, Brad Keast played and will again this week. Baldy, Sambo, & Whop to return this week too. Our B's have the bye so i might be able to sit back and watch. Thanks again to Sudsy for putting my finger back where it's supposed to be, cheers.

Tod River in the upset of the year accounted for a dissapointing LS outfit..... the last 4 LS (so called) batsmen made 0,0,0 and 0.
SES with a fired up Stiffy Morgan accounted for Waybacks at the picturesque High School oval with Dusty Parker at his hard hitting best. Rumour has it scoob batted at no.7 to wait till Stiffy had finished his spell.... just a rumour scoob ....any truth????
Jimmy Stockham laid claim to the best batsmen in the comp with a fine innings.... he went well at Oceans to.
The horse has been riden, saw some pisseddickheads on Friday night around 11 on the horse getting their pic taken... only a matter of time before someone slips of and cracks their head.... hope Im there to see it.....

They're too late, I rode her last Sunday after our game at Tumby. Rainbow has the photos on his phone but can't send them apparently, god knows we tried!

Bystander , you taking up being a jockey! I thought only winners were allowed to ride her and I think you lost that game at tumby if I'm correct.

AG Upset of the year, I don't think so. Tod River have some talent in that side and will win more games this year. LS made 120 off 28 overs which is not a bad score on centenary and the toddy boys chased it down. Every game will be a 50 / 50 contest this season and it will come down to what happens on the day. I take most of the blame for us losing as 50 knot winds cause me to wait 2 hours for a ship to berth and therefore missed out on batting as when I got there we were all out. Disappointing the boys couldn't hang around abit longer but we had a few out Whitetips, Swaff and me not batting doesn't help. Bowling was a tough thing to do last week and we gave away plenty of extra's as expected. Tod River boys were too good and deserved their win.
Wouldn't go writing us off just yet AG!! Very good preparation for next's week grand final V tumby bay as we got a good look at the deck and a couple of different players.
question is will it be played on centenary or will it be watered again and shifted to poole??
Have fun tonight at the meeting Eags!! Let us all know what happens tomorrow on this site.

No hiding Grub.. Been facing Stiffy for years and enjoy facing him.. Rather face him with pace then that half pace crap I got out to.. Sammy is doing a top job giving the young fellas every chance to bat up the order. That together with my lack of enthusiasm for cricket, plus a hangover maybe a fair reason why I was " hiding at 6"

the SES Queensland Bulls were to good and will be there at the business end of the season..

there is no doubt s.e.s have gone overboard with their new uniform. the asssociation should step in on that issue.
AG, tod river are improving. they will make the finals.

I thought that was just pre season comp and 20/20 uniform. They shouldn't be wearing it in the normal games surely!

Yes I would agree they are a big chance of a top four finish. They might push charlton and waybacks to fifth and sixth.

haje - should be $2 the way you guys are being talked up on here.....all that 'talent'.
With scoob hungover it looks as if Waybacks will miss.... that leaves you and Charlton fighting out fot the last spot.....
Who ended up winning baseball yesterday haloman???.... could you give a quick report on the game.... I see both teams were fairly depleted.
Was it a career highlight to play on the High School eags???

who would be the most boring batsmen in port lincoln cricket? my vote would go to keast from charlton

After facing a fired up rhino at training last year Donga would be military medium. Donga got me out before but hasn't scared me!!

My vote most boring would go to Eags!! Too technically correct for this cricket and has the patience to bat for very long periods not like some. Great player but can be boring!! Hee Hee

Fair call there AG. I'm usually down the other end and it takes the umpire to say "over" to wake me up and go to talk to Turbo. Another who has the shots but usually throws his wicket away after doing the hard yards early. Will contribute when required and has the TALENT!! Ooops shouldn't use that word as GRUB will take me to the cleaners!!

See Jimmy Delivery Boy stockham made more runs last week. Has said he is concentrating on cricket rather then baseball and it is paying off so far.

Sudsy in the runs again I see. Best batsmen in port lincoln, I overheard at the pub and your proving it. Hope I get the chance to bowl at you again this weekend. I know you would like the opportunity to hit some big sixes again!!!

Shame sarge is not taking it too seriously this year but I still hope he gives rainbow some stick at some stage throughout the season.
