Congrats on the new job mate, gotta hate it when work comes before the forum! I'll give it 2 weeks and you'll be a regular again (make it 4 days if you win this week :D ) :D :D We need the Hamley boys to stay on board makes for great reading, I mean if all of a sudden this forum became boring I guess I would have to resort to working too, dont let it come to that!

In my opinion it was not reportable, the 10 mins off was applicable and the free kick - not surprised the Umps cocked up the reporting process - missed plenty all day - no reason to expect them to pick that one up. Good to see most of the Roosters saw it and had the appropriate response to Brahm and his mates.

If it happened in the AFL - Brahm would have gotten at least 4 games - charging, reckless, shirtfront, head high etc as the points racked up.

No Report laid or needed, it was a shirtfront, looked a bit ugly, but that's probably because we watch that sanitised version of the game called AFL, blokes have beed doing it for 100 years, he got 10 minutes, a bit of a spray from our section of the crowd and they lost, would have thought that would be punishment enough.

Weren't sure that they were the Cream of the APFL umpiring fraternity but don't think they got it too badly wrong all day.

Reidy and Chuvs were big losses to HWE and lets hope they are up and about soonish.

This from the Producer!

[i]The proposed 2500 home development at Two Wells has generated a positive response from the community.
Hickinbotham last week publicly announced its intentions to develop a large residential development of 2500 homes on a triangular parcel of land between Mallala road, Port Wakefield road and Temby road.
The Plains Producer web poll showed readers generally believed the development would be positive for the town.
More than 40 per cent believed the proposal would benefit the town, while another 30 per cent said it would benefit the town if it was done carefully with thought for the township as it is now.

Two Wells business owner Tony Lange sees the development as bringing further opportunities for the existing community.
He hopes the developers will help fund community projects, such as a much needed upgrade to the town’s sporting facilities.
And if the development goes ahead, Mr Lange predicts a new sporting club may even be needed, with Two Wells Football Club currently having nearly 40 under 14 footballers.[/
i]

Don't know about a new club, but an upgrade wouldn't go missing!! [-o<

Also see that Angle Vale township has recieved $3m plus funding for new state of art country sporting facility. Could this make them more attractive to our league? Assuming they still are considering joining APFL.

Im going to get in on this tipping action,

Mallala to smash Balak, 10 goal minimum
Hamley to get on the board with a 4 goal win
and mark my words. VIRGINIA will beat Hummocks not sure by how much but they will win, thinking 6 goals.

other tips:

hawthorn to miss the eight.
R.Royals to win the IPL. Back to back
Australia to win 20/20 world cup. get on them $4.80 at sportsbet.

Yeah been over sea's on my honeymoon, been great still been getting on the net to see the scores though( when i haven't been on my back).... whats happening with the Bombers, i dont take much out of scores sometimes doesn't tell the full truth, What i've heard we have played 9 good quarters out of 12 but its our bad ones that cost us too much... when we're bad we're bad. so i hear. whats your thoughts. anyone from virginia, balak, or united want to comment on the bomber, dont want smart ass comments, something half serious would be good. have they improved?
