How is Heuskes going at the Bays. Heard he was having trouble with his feet. Is he looking fit or struggling?

Can I ask you blokes your opinion on the Association team...The list of players went around last night and it looked as though some big names were left off of the list including Steele, Hams, Carnevale from Willunga, Braidwood from Compass, Hueskes from Encounter Bay, etc. Who actually picks the list of players and do they have inside information as to who wants to play and who doesn't?
Is it still anhonour to play these days or do players still see it as a game on a weekend where they could have a break and rest their bodies???

its an under 25 side with some over 25s. i think there is a max of 4-5
i imagine the guys want a weekend off aswell.
it is an honour but is hard to make it appealing when it is a one game affair and the best of the best arent playing.
bring back the lovelock shield!!
its picked by league delegates, the coach and i think they ring around and ask the coaches who they think from their sides.

Apparently they are going along nicely with room for more improvement. Several of us have been watching their progress closely, as the club I am tied to are very keen on getting their coaches services for next year. I think he coached in the Mallee league, won a couple of flags, does the "Mallee Bull" u/n mean you are from that way. Any info on their coach?

Looking at the results so far this season, you would have to say S.Maxfield is the stand out so far for Mail Medalist form. Can anyone shed some light on where he played previously???

but a few of the guy's wish they were not there
and will be leaving at the end of the year.

I can confirm I've heard the same rumour lads, apparently the boys aren't going to play under him Vs Victor this week, mass protest will see them all walk out prior to game time.
If the coach refuses to leave then the team has threatened to all start their own rival footy club to finish out 2007!

What is the coaches name? This is big news. Why are the blokes so pissed with him? Due to wrong selections? Or is he that much of a bad egg that he can piss off the whole group. Who would be EB's best players? Alot of clubs would be keeping an eye on this coming into the closing date of June 30th.

I think FootyMad is just stirring people up mate,
I think he knows more about the coach and the
club than most of us.
