I've heard Che Cockatoo-Collins' name bandied about as a possible Bay recruit. Can anyone confirm that rumour? I've also heard that one of the Bond brothers might be heading there for a game.

Lindsay Bassani played at Lions in the Spencer Gulf League in 2002.
He had a good year and was the 2nd leading goalkicker in the Competition.
He kicked 6 in a Prelimiary Final to take us into the GF, where we were beaten by a strong Ports side.

Are any of them from Morphett Vale, or would they be in addition to the MV recruits?

Yeah, I've heard that Genovese is playing for Willunga as well. I also heard that Mt Compass have secured the services of a bloke from Glenelg by the name of Burdett. Apparently he won the Reserves B&F there recently. I also heard that Matt Doyle will be moving from Yank to Saints.

I noticed there's another thread about what each club rates as its top 5 players. I'd be interested to see who everyone in the GSFL thread thinks would be rated as the top 5 players in their club. I'll be happy to get the ball rolling.

Langhorne Creek

1. Randall Follett
2. Josh King
3. Tim Rogers
4. Shaun Golding
5. Ash Manuel

Interesting if that's true because I thought he was heading to South Africa but that must have only been for a couple of weeks stint. I remember him from Mens softball days and he'd wan't to have grown up a fair bit since then to be an A grade coach.

I dont think they'd miss them too much if they get some of these players from South Adelaide and Morphett Vale that have been speculated/rumoured about.

My bad, I was actually talking to one of them on the phone the other day and he was talking about the political situation at Henley (which is why said players left) and I must have got my wires crossed
