Hey Ace, Who is this Darren Powell that got in your best players in the B Grade on the weekend? Is this the same one that played for us last year? Is it a spelling error cause I couldn't find a Darren Powell on your list of registered players anywhere?

It`s going to be very interesting to hear Ace Of Spades summary of the game on the weekend.
Is there going to be many excuses or was it a case of being beaten by a very young fit and talented side whom have been under rated ?

Firstly, might I say that MC, my rotund friend, you know full well that that site you refer tois only updated a couple times a week and if a clearance was to come though on a Friday afternoon it is unlikely to be uploaded until the following week. Why you would make such a stupid comment considering your knowledge of how the APFL works is beyond me.
Secondly, excuses :D …. HWE were obviously dominant in the first quarter and from then on were extremely disappointing (hence the mothers day training session :( ). We were beaten in run, desire, and were probably not physical enough around the ball. I though the umpires did a fantastic job and were in no way the reason 2wells came back from 5 goals down in the first quarter :^o . From then on 2wells puffed their little chests out and we couldn’t rein them in. 2wells are a good young team when given a sniff and for the first time in a long while our boys didn’t seem to want to win as much as the little bantams did, they worked well especially around the contests and used numbers to get the ball forward, and built a solid wall to keep it in there . That being said, I don’t think we’ll see the same result next time. With Reid, Chivell, Trussel and Young all out with injury for a couple weeks and the light tower away digging up rocks the depth will really be tested next week against the Rams.

I'll take that as a bittersweet complement.

Anyway so Powell obviously played for you guys on Saturday. Who did he get cleared from then Ace? Paralowie? You should know that if a player wants to come back into this league within two years from when he left he needs a clearance from the original club he played with. Hence us. I don't care what that 4eb website says because I know we haven't cleared him to you. I wander what the penalty is if you lose because you guys would/should have fully known this. I bet the league goes soft as butter on you guys!

Kym? has missed the last 2 games after pulling a hamstring.
Was a shame because he was close to a berth in the A Grade midfield after putting in a huge preseason

gone missing??? every club goes missing after they loose a game especially one they are meant to win, mallala have shown who's boss and two wells have shown they can really turn it on (on their day) as for longies well they beat a team that seams to have lost all the fight in them, so far this season only one thing has come to be true who knows what will happen on any given saturday, lets hope the bottom teams can pick up the pace and the top team (mallala) to keep playing good footy.
PS great to see virginia loose put a smile on my face all saturday night
