Cook up a great feed hey NWNW... how about you guys cook up a great feed and I have a rest :D

My Tips:
A = Strathalbyn
B = Willunga
Senior Colts = McLarens in a nail biter !! [-o<
Junior Colts = Saints - a draw at full time and then on to play the extra 5 mins each end (LF's used to the pressure after the past couple of weeks :D )

Don't forget to check out our canteen while you're there tomorrow people :D

PS: Jelom it's NWNW not MWMW

LuvsFooty I know you are on suicide watch :Hangman: My tip is to jump off the Hindmarsh Island Bridge tonight because you should be in th GF. I know your team missed some easy set shots but I can tell you right now that the last goal Willunga kicked was clearly touched. The Willunga and Saints players involved knew it and so did the goal umpire but he was over ruled by the field umpire. Unlucky! On a positive note its good so see the Saints get beaten like that!!!!

Yes Footy05 it was touched, and it cost us dearly, but we controlled the game from start to finish just couldn't capitalise so we really only have ourselves to blame. Some of the blokes that missed easy shots would kick them 9 out of 10 but thats the way it goes. I have now been involved in 4 1 point games this season (1 as a player, 3 as a coach) is that some sort of record?

Not a bad day at Mclaren Footy Club Today
Oval in Great condition with a 3 goal breeze to the southern end
Food fantastic
Best Steak Sandwiches in the league
Had a Yiros just after half time with chips from the canteen
and Clarence Hill red wine from the Italian connection at the Blue van
Results
U/ 14
Saints got beaten by 5 points in a thriller and I did tell you the goal umpire would make a big mistake. Willunga awarded a goal in the last bit that was touched on the line.
Tough LF but you took it well
U/17
McLaren in a nail biter.
got up by 6 points
Some very good players on both sides
Number 2, 11, 17 and 19 for McLaren
Number 23, 14 and 13 for Langhornes
Good Umpiring
Never seen so much support for juniors from senior players
At least 10 were out there from McLaren at 1/2 time

Reserves
Willunga too Good by about 6
Gibbo was good although he did favour a shoulder
Hoppo stirred things up with Carnevale
Shagga was near their best

A's
Left 20 minutes into the last and Strath were up 16 goals 8 to 8 goals something
will win by more than 10 goals
Too quick too skilled, although the creek were down to 18 fit men in the 2nd quarter
Duffield 2 big grabs in the first quarter with Strath kicking with the breeze and the game was all over at quarter time with Strath up 7 goals to 1.
Wilson was good off half back, eagleton seagulled well, Duff all day was good
Mail medalist Follett was below par but he also got a fair knock in the first quarter.
Langhornes looked as though they had come off a hard game and been flogged on the training track. Slow and tired from the start

This was the 4th final I have been too this year
The Best crowd by a long way

And for those OF YOU, who thought Mclaren people were feral and rude
COULD NOT FAULT THE CLUB
I WOULD SAY THE BEST CLUB ATMOSPHERE YOU COULD HAVE
CANTEEN LADIES AND PLAYERS WHO WERE SERVING IN THERE GREAT
THEIR PRESIDENT WAS SELLING BUDGETS AT THE GATE
tHEIR pRESIDENTS GROUP WHO DO THE STEAK SANGERS
CHECK THE MOUSTACHE ON ONE OF THEM ...CURLED UP TO HIS EARS
CIAO BOYS FROM THE BLUE VAN
sTREETS ABOVE ANY OF THE FINALS ELSEWHERE THIS YEAR
MAYBE A BIT OF JEALOSY FOR THIS YOUNG GSFL CLUB

3 clubs left
Willunga with 3 sides
Strath with 3 sides
McLaren with 2 sides

Good luck to you

I am pretty sure we lost by 1 point Magoo. 5-3 (32) to 4-7 (31). We cant blame the goal umpire he wanted to make the call but it was over ruled by the field umpire. I took it well because I didnt see it but the poor kid that touched it was shattered!

O:) Thankyou Mr Magoo.

Yes 2 sides in the grandfinal \:D/

Didn't really get to see much at all yesterday, having spent the whole day in the canteen (and wow !! ... no worries about people spending money on food at the footy this week... the line was 5 deep for most of the day... busy, busy, busy !! - way more busier than the final we had last year - so thankyou patrons :D)

Anyway... didn't get to see much but LF my heart was in my mouth with you guys... I was thinking that my 'draw' prediction might be a reality... but to go down by 1 point... boy that must have been heartbreaking... but your boys (and 1 girl) did give Willunga a big run for their money from what I did get to see. You can be proud of your achievements this season =D>

Our 17's... only saw the last 30 seconds of that game (once there was daylight at the canteen ) and I was so nervous for them with only a 6 point lead and the ball heading back into the compass forward line when the siren sounded !! Well done guys. Can't wait till next week.

Just like to say badluck to the compass boys especially young Binns... played his heart out all year, such a lovely kid was devistated at the end... although obviously I wanted McLaren to win, my heart breaks for the ones that don't get through :(

And yeah, didn't see any of the B's or A's.

Did any of you guys meet in the bar at half time of the B grade ????

Wasn't too far off the mark with the A Grade margin Mr T. Strath way too good for the creeks. Hope they give the demons a real shake on Saturday!! Bad luck LF for your boys, god these umpiring decisions give me the s@#ts sometimes. Don't know how they can turn a blind eye to the Goal umpires, some of these guys are so bloody head strong they don't want to listen too any one else  . The senior colts was a bit closer than i thought, but maybe if a couple of Mclarens players were at full fitness it would of been a bit of a wider gap. Good luck too Both Colts teams next Saturday. =D> :supz: Yoh Jelom, still waiting for some photos of your jelly arse on a scooter across to granite island. When are these going to surface
