tanka, fair enough, everyone deserves their own opinion. and ur right he didnt dominate. the reason he was in the A's association any way was through dominating in the B's, and then in the 3-4 games he had played i think he got in the best for the A's twice. the main problem as i see it is what u said about baldy and artis both playing amazing footy at the moment. and unfortunately for chappy his best possie is the same as theirs.

anyway TWE, Armytank etc, looking forward to this week, should be a good battle all day.

GTS in reference to Artis' form, i was out at the interleague game and that being the only game i have seen Chapman and Artis play in i thought in terms of commitment at the ball and work rate Chapman was far superior! Artis didn't commit at a hard ball all day whereas chapman was never afraid to commit to a ball or jump for a contested mark! Not by any means saying Artis isn't worthy of his spot, just in direct comparison with Chapman and if he isn't training like you said he is obviously doing the work by himself cos he looked solid!

On the big clash between Ironbank and Mt Lofty, if ever Mt Lofty were/are vulnerable it would be on the smaller deck! With a player coach like Daniel Exelby, captain in Matt Smith and recruits in Michael Hare, Matt Howes and Muff to a lesser extent, you can bet your bottom dollar Ironbanks emphasis is gonna be on the hard ball!!! This game will be won by the team who is willing to commit to the ball under any circumstances and applies and maintains pressure around stoppages!

My money would still be on Mt. Lofty but this will be a game with plenty of heart, the only thing that could make the occasion bigger is a massive crowd which we can all only hope for, would love to see the hill back in full flight this week!

If you dont train you dont play A grade. Its that simple. Its a team game not about individuals.

You stick to standing on the balcony yelling stuff out at blokes from 50 metres away.

Chappy had trained plenty more times than that. Why did Floreani play A's when he first came up? Chappy had trained more than him.

But you go on thinking it was me if that makes it easier for you.

having faced up against Ironbank and then Mt.lofty the following week... R-R-Rapper is spot on. Lofty are faster, stronger, fitter and use the ball better.... but then again stranger things have happened, and on ironbanks little oval... u never know.

And for what its worth, there's no way Floreani should've been second best for mt.lofty on saturday.

S'n'B yeah mate i heard arto didnt play all that well in the assoc game, but mate he has been on deadset fire this yr. in terms of chappy doing work even if he cant train, dude just go up to him and poke him, the man is a carbon copy of bloody trevor hendy in his prime, he's a machine.

i hope all the other teams and players keep thinking that there are problems at lofty, we'll just find out what they are after your prospective teams have played us.

not exactly sure why people think we'd have a weakness on a small oval inwhich hard play would be involved. have the people that claim this ever seen trigger, white, rossco, dk, matt stapes, a. cooper, woody, burch, and of course our skipper cuttso, play the game. 9 of the hardest footballers ive played with thats for sure.

Meadows were certainly too good for Maccy on Saturday. I felt at half time that we might have had some sort of chance but a bad third quarter certainly put paid to that. It was somewhat encouraging in parts given that Lynchy was out and Murphy didn't have a huge impact but we'll have to play more consistently over a whole game to do better.
Meadows certainly played a good run on brand of football and I'm sure they'll be right in the hunt for the flag this year.
There was a fair crowd at the game and I think that it was probably the darkest conditions I've seen for awhile, at half time you would have thought it was 5.45 in the evening.

Great to see another former HFL player under notice at SANFL level. John McDonald has just been named as Round 11 nominee of the Coca-Cola Star Search Award. 19 possessions on the wing against Port Magpies in just his second game earned him the nomination. Follows up on another former Raider in Craig Evans being the recipient earlier in the year.
With Nick Wark, Sam Miles, Matt Jaensch, Michael Bratton and Nick Smith all making waves at Unley, it appears the Hills is a great breeding ground for the Blues.

No not 'Skin' Cougar, this Johnny Mc can actually play. By the way, they might be turning them alway from Brooker Park on Saturday, just think of the attraction ... Kersbrook playing their only conqueror, with the likes of the AFL talented James boys and Brodie Atkinson on offer ... and of course, the flag twirling antics of J. MacDonald!!!!

well played gts a nice straight bat if ive ever seen one just fishing 4 bites got a nibble but not much else :D :D :D
really your boys will start favs in both grades this week might be one or 2 changes 4 us but nothing massive ...
your form is better than ours in the a grade and would think that u would win by 3 or 4 goals ..but this is a big challenge 4
ironbank and the TEAM are pumped and ready 4 the fight hope we can sneak over the line :D :D
the b grade is a bit of a closer contest 4 mine we were the only team to get close to u boys last year! (that dam draw ) and our squad has improved as yours prob has as well but with the forward line working how it is with redmuff , JR , g.davey ,parko, flarts and 100 goal ff with the worst boots ever seen (foody 8) )i think u will find it hard to hold us !!!cant fu$king wait 4 sleeps 2 go :( :(

Do the Birdwood players still pray before they play footy? A group of them, use to do it before playing 'A' grade footy in Country Division. I'd suggest they pray a lot harder, cos it ain't working for them at the moment!

I played there a few years back, a fair group of both B and A grades usually pray before a game, most the boys that did it are still running around at the club so I'd suggest it is still going on.
The way things are going i'd agree the might have to pray a bit harder, Top bunch of blokes though and good luck to them in central! At least they are having a crack!
