Better to get locals than players out of the region.

Heard on the grapevine a new recruit to the riverland has not/will not be signed to play until the club is certain the player will fit into the club and they are 100% happy with him. :roll:
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?

Saw Ash Montgomery on the track last week.

It might just be my eyes, but it looked like he'd shed a fair few kilos over the off-season.

Could be good signs for the Tigers with him in full stride.
