Hey Grub

Did not bowl second game as I couldn't even walk after the 150 and sincock bagged 5 for before we could blink so no need to bowl. I might not get many overs this year with a very strong bowling line up so I will have to concentrate on the batting. Eags has been consistent during all three games so I vote for him 4 player of the comp and so has A Woolford from Tumby team. He has contributed with bat and bowl and so must be a chance. One man band out at SES at the moment.
After earlier comments about south's not being competitive until after christmas, you put them up as favourites to win the pre season comp. Come on grub, you can do better then that otherwise I will get on at punitab!!
Missed out on Potter winning at the races last sunday, as I was doing a fitness test over in adelaide at the SA institute of sport and before you fall over laughing it was for work purposes as they expect me to carry a firearm in the near future. Quite funny doing the vertical jump test , step test and few other functional flexibility tests in order to carry a gun.
That is why I missed the last game for south's but will be back in this week if I can fight my way into the team.
Whitetips , due for a big score my friend!! Be good to see it this week against Charlton and Tasmans. Be interesting to see if Rhino plays seeing he hasn't played a game yet but I hear he has been training. T Dodd batting at 7 and not bowling must be thinking twice about staying at tasman's.

Hey whitetips

Ridden a few things in my time about 500kg's but not a horse!!

I would like to do a glen boss dance aboard the great mare.

So who will the town of port lincoln be backing in this years cup?? Surely there is some connection to the irish raider Yeats or the Japanese horse Pop Rock/ Delta Blues???

Grub, you know anyone backing Makybe Diva as I'm sure I saw her name in the fixed odds list. They forgot to take her off last years list! Hee Hee

Ben Smith 180 runs 4 wickets
Woolford 140 runs 8 wickets....

does that mean a tie... if a wicket is 10 points??? or is it 20 a wicket??? have too see the GM!!!

Strong bowling line up and Tips gets 8 overs a week..... have to come up with something better than that puma... although he has more wickets than runs this season!

C Reidy
K Kennedy
N Sincock
A Sincock
G Symonds
D Nobel
A Gourlay

not bad when your number 7 bowler has picked up 25 and 28 wickets in the past two season but won't bowl much.

Tips is the suprise packet! Ask the GM??

really the order should be:

K.Kennedy
D.Noble
A.Gourlay (if batters are settled in)
N.Sincock
Reidy (as a few over express bowler)
G.Symonds
A.Sincock

present that at training goo!

my thoughts are Charlton to be premier's this season.. big call but pretty confident that they will do it.
Liam Knight, Viv Coultard, Luke Yancic, Luke Harder, Brad Keast, Paul White and Ray Whillas did not play on the weekend... pretty sure with a full side will be unbeatable this season!
Apparently Yancic's had his op on his knee and is available in couple of weeks but waiting until fully fit after christmas to come back, same story with Keast. Knight out fishing, Harder and Whillas hollidays, White only plays if yancic does and Viv comes out of the closet when he's ready to put the whites on.
Player to watch after christmas break.. Luke Yancic

Ben Hogan $12
P Newman $12
M Smith $16
A Ryan $21
Adam Hage $26
Craig Dorward $33
J Fauser $33

L Knight $1,001
V Coulthard $1,001
L Yancic $1,001
L Harder $1,001
B Keast $1,001

Charlton to win both Cups and 20/20 $101.....
Charlton to go thru the season undefeated (inc 20/20) $500,001.
Whats all this Charlton talk ....FFS..... Bring back biggles and we will have a complete set !!!! They will make the finals but OC your dreaming if you think they can win the GF!!!
White is fired up.... hit them sweetly in the nets at practise last night....... He and Sprucey Yancic could make the difference!!!

At this stage I would think Souths would have to be favourites for all 3 flags. Put me down for $10 on the treble grub.

Jimmy Stockham and Ash Grey hold the mantle as the best bats in PL at the moment tho.

Good to see some constructive support, 12 months ago everyone here was taking the piss out of us. Thought i'd give you some correct info tho. Liam will be in and out with work, Yancic has had his op, possibly back b4 xmas, Luke Harder going to Adelaide for footy in about a month, Keasty still 4-5 weeks away, White has gone to Darwin for footy, Ray should be right for the remainder, Viv keeps saying he'll come out but haven't seen him yet.
