Unbelievable turnabout from last few seasons.

Unimagineable that Yank, Will and Creeks who have dominated the last 2 seasons would ALL lose concecutive games to teams that finished near the bottom of the ladder in recent years.

Has there EVER been a case where Back to Back premiers have then finished wooden spooners?

Too early to call BUT unless the Creeks get a few players back off their long injury list, it's a distinct possibility.

Whats are peoples views as to the reasons behind the rapid turnaround in clubs fortunes / results in such a short period of time?
Is the points system starting to show its true worth ?

Strange thing for me is that teams like compass, bays and Goolwa all seem to have lost more than
They gained but have improved.

Could not ask for a better first 6 rounds...gsfl is alive and well! Heard a very good rumour tonight from a few lads up north Dylan Williams is already shopping himself around for next year? Not enjoying his footy apparently....

Think you might right Bunton - he should concentrate on getting the hard-ball or a kick otherwise he’ll be playing B grade – that won’t look so good on his resume when he’s “shopping himself around”. Maybe after his time in the bush, the GSFL is a bit too hard!

Can any Creek guys out there give me an update as to how the two Echunga boys are doing out there?? I noticed Tom played B grade on the weekend, is that due to form or coming back from an injury?

He played the previous 2 in the A's and Uebergang came back after missing a couple so more likely form.

Yep, Form. Had a good game in the 'B's Saturday but then again most do when you win by 15 goals.
Brock Rothe missed a game or 2 with injury but has perrformed ok when has played i think.

Williams had a very quiet game v strath on the weekend played half the game on a 17 yo in his first a grade game also. Seems you have a few players with ego problems there at the moment "fod" lets hope things can turn around for the Roos soon.

Was great to see so many victor players in the strath clubrooms after the game apparently they headed to one of the local pubs also afterwards to do a grade presos. Was interested to know if any other clubs do this? Good idea i think change of scenery from time to time doesnt hurt. I know willunga have there presos back at there clubrooms on away games. At strath we never open up our clubrooms on away games except when we have made grand finals. Keeps the wives happy doing it only on home games I guess

I went into the Pongy clubrooms after the game and our boys were well represented there too. A visit to the Milang pub after the Creek game is usually on the cards.

The little man has probably only lost 20 games in his 200 played.
A real milestone for one of the best players in the league.

On the other hand McLaren did the right thing for big Stephen Kahl who played his 200th against Myponga and celebrated his 200th with a win.
Pretty sure the big fella is the first player to play 200 senior games for McLaren Football Club.
