Don Burkes yeah, Apparently no action from Don, the last time, evidently he went downstairs and velcroed himself to her nether regions, took him three hours to unhook himself!!

She tells me he all thumbs, Green thumbs!!

And Yes Swampy, can play and i'm not sure, as i certainly didn't feel it, though that is not definate as Young Juzzy has the lightest footsteps you've never heard, so there's even the possibilty that he flew over, but i reckon the Goal Umpire probably copped the worst of it as i thought i had sheparded it through. Should have rubbed the back of me scone like Gary Lyon after Shaun Smith stood on it, would have looked good for the paper!!
Sorry people I only deal in facts!

Talking to D Cicca over here Saturday night, he feels the Eagles are back on track after the bye and will take some beating again.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Yeah the eagles starting to get the results theyre after but the night life will be a telling factor against the fitter sides like your mob swamp. Boys love it dare i say too much! Hopefully they can cut it back to a couple of nights a week come finals time! :?

Need a few games into Kevin Arnold, and mozzy back from his skiing trip. Knowing mozzy he would have trained hard while away and eaten all the right things
Joely back in this week but Case gone for a few after breaking his collerbone against roosters mob. Had a shocking run poor old casey.

Must admit, the weather over the last couple of days is when you start to miss footy. Leading into finals with the weather getting warmer, freshly cut grass, there isnt a hell of a lot better.

Knowing how keen Jaz is for his footy and coaching i would have thought he'd be pretty keen to slow down the night life from here on in. Or is that the secret to success wedgie, its been working for a few years now :D I reckon theyll be in fair nic in coupla weeks for the dress rehearsal at Mallala. Dare i say it :?

Jazz is just a fitness freak in general! It may be the secret to success although i know a couple of boys over the last couple of years have made a conscious effort to get off the grog altogether. It seems tough at the time but small price to pay for that one day in september. Plus the celebrations come saturday night, sunday, mad monday, tuesday wednesday, off thursday, back on it again saturday sunday and then every possible opportunity you see the playing group for pretty much as long as you live.
Muckhole is a prime example where he goes cold turkey from atleast a month out.
Everyone is different i know and to be honest some people play better after a few beers the night before. I tried it against Two Wells a few weeks back for the first time in about 4 years and i can vouch for the fact that i can not do it!!
Still think your maggies are in the box seat with the double chance pretty much a certainty. I think the Eages need the double chance this year especially given they have been beaten by everyone in the top four this year. It will help with the mindset and confidence.

Hopefully your right mate!! Speakin to Muck early on in the season he mentioned that he had been off the grog for a while prior to when he had his corky. He d obviously set himself to play state country footy and obviously have a big year with the eags, injuries to the blokes that work the hardest are shattering. Good to see him back playing welln again!!
Be a real test for a lot our guys never really played in finals matches which we re expected to win, there does seem to be a little bit more belief and confidence around this year. Everyone who has played finals, grand finals particularly, realises that come that one day, mindset and mental approach is most important. The talent is there in all sides, but mindset critical. Mallala will certainly be approaching the finals confidently however we certainly realise that we have nothing to loose. At the start of the year we werent rated by many at all, the development of our next group of players has been great, lightened the load off blokes like hollitt, whitty, blacko etc etc who have carried the team through a tough period. Would be such a huge bonus if Mallala like the eagles did with their current group (together for 5-6 years) can have success early on in thier development. A premiership as a developing young team is paramount to the mindset and approach of the next few years. Reaslising the enjoyment, satisfaction and mateship that comes with a premiership medallion is a real driving force for success.

Now boys we all know that beer goes with footy. Leaving one out is like Chech being by himself without Chong!!! Celebratory drinks before, after and during games should be encouraged. We all know for a fact that the Muck runs on rum and taking that food group away from him could be disastrous. I say go with what feels right. And you wedgie feeling a bit seedy after a few beers on Friday night. You have got to toughen up a bit!!

Hummocks/Watchman vs Hamley Bridge at Lochiel: Hummocks by 19 goals. No Lowe will hurt hamley even more. Unfortunate!

Balaklava vs Two Wells at Balaklava: Balaklava by 39 points. Peckers coach has finally realised the potential of Whisky up forward!! Whisky to kick 7

Mallala vs Virginia at Mallala: Surprisingly close this one. Magpies badly depleted. Rams always have a crack against the Maggies. Mallala by 17 points.

United has the Bye: Surely not still shopping!

Its always good being at the crease Swamp when someone reaches their 100. A long way off that milestone myself.
About Gavin, if he plays it will be great for our club, the league and everyone involved. Theres certainly alot of belief and confidence in the playing group we have to do the job. But hey if he wants to play your certainly not going to knock a player of that calibre and experience back no matter what club you are. Im sure Mallala or Hummocks wouldnt say no!
Im sure you boys arent getting ahead of yourselves. Full credit to Mallala they have been the best side so far this year.
Best of luck this week Swamp. Virginia will have a real crack but im sure your boys will win comfortably.

Well catch you in a couple of weeks so dont hurt yourself tomorrow.

You Blokes are unbelievable!!

Talk about the Mutual Admiration Society!!
How About talking about the real issues, Like Swampy picking the Peckers by plenty and the Roosters knocking them off!!

Probably a bigger story was that Andrew Evans rushed to hospital after his bonce ricocheted of a young Roosters melon! Evo was strtetchered from the ground and the word on the street afterwards is that he had been split open under his chin as well as the top of his head, The nicest Conan the Barbarian look-a-like we have in the plains. We wish him all the best and hope that all is ok with him, hopefully he doesn't have to sport headgear like his brother, now there is a look.

Big Whisky is handy up forward but you still need to get the aggot to the great man, and without his influence in the middle they struggled to do it.

A special thank you to the old bone head who decided that his supportive efforts were best served standing alongside his car (at the northern end) giving heaps to the Roosters and Telling the Balak players excactly what they should do. I think he even questioned the parentage of yours truly!! I thought i recognised him, i nearly slept with his daughter but a Dog beat me to it. Listen mate if you even have someone in your life that has half a brain to explain how to read this, If you have something to say to a certain player, certainly the things you had to say, feel free to front them up in the club after the game and ask them in person, You'll probably find on saturday he was one of about 8 people in there after the game. Wouldn't have been hard to find, Perhaps your spine would be harder to find!! :x

Yeah rooster things dont seem all that rosey out in peckerland. Heard another story of the supporters actually turning on themselves during the game also. Its never nice to see the wheels falling off at Balaklava
Some of the blah blah coming out of their partners mouthes especially the other Evans twins mrs mouth was borderline embarrassing!!

Well done to the red and white. Does this mean finals are a possibility? Havent had a look at the ladder for a while but must be close for that last spot between peckers and roosters.

The usual doing their jobs again on the weekend swamp. Sunday mail reported Whitty, Hollit and Swampearle dominated :D Hitting a bit of form at the right time. good work.

Tips
Port to knock crows out of the finals race this weekend. 8)
