Hey Goldy ,

Is Patrick O'Niel back this week - would think his pace is much needed against Imps at Mypo this week .

What you want them to put a 15 and 16 year old in the A Grade
What a stupid comment if you knew what you were talking about Burger had been chased all year and not just by imps. In fact your club was probably one of the other chasing him half way through the year.

Why not??????? We've played Koch,Vanson, Dougall, Gogal & Altmann just to name a few over the past 2-3 seasons.
Meningie have played 2 kids this year both 15
Mannum played Bullard & Kruse both 16 in a GF (must admit they had to)

& Yes even Imps played Wingard in the same year. Why not persist instead of buy?

Imps have also played juniors this year - James Clarke, Sean Samblich, Chad Wingard, Keelan White just to name a few. Chad Wingard played in an A Grade Premiership at 16. If you have ever seen Dwayne or Jarrod they are both skinny kids and would get snapped in half in the A Grade. Also these kids are midfielders Burger is a Full Forward!

how many kids that age ever play in the guts though? not many! if they have the talent no matter of size play them on a forward or back flank. or out of a pocket. look at a troy cowland, he still plays at about 70kg soaking wet ;)
no one expects the to come in and dominate senoir footy its more for the players and the clubs future benefit.

Dont have the final score however Meningie by about 10 goal. Really didnt look like losing it in after the first quarter.

So Meningie get a "home" final against Imps on Sunday. Whilst i would expect the Blues to win there will probably be a bit of pressure on them not to go out in straight sets. The Mannum/Ramblers final will be particularly interesting. I'll select Ramblers by 2 goals, and Imps to beat the Bears by 7 goals.

Two home finals this week.
I like the fact that the RMFL's program including finals is set at the start of each season - but Mannum would be feeling a little bit agrieved at finishing top and then playing Ramblers at the chooks. I suppose that evens out the home GF for mannum last year.

Does the home ground give Meningie a chance - I would suggest yes. If this game was played anywhere else i would be asking Imps by how far , but i give the Bears a chance down at pelican park.
