Rover's beat Waybacks by 1 wicket in a low scoring affair on Centerary.

We made 118, Rovers passed it with about 10 overs spare...

Sorry about the change of subject but 2 things to report

1 - Waybacks have reappointed David Hawes as coach for 2007
2 - Which Wayback footballer is rumoured to be following in the footsteps of Tom George to
Sturt (yet he may stay longer)

Only fights there AG was me fighting my way through a couple of burgers, chips and hot dogs to replenish the supplies. Taxi driver did warn me about going there but my hunger pains far outweighed, my logical thinking at that time of the morning.

Good knock by Casey Grocke to hit 47 and should have been a 50 if puma didn't run three short runs which he was heavily fined for by the team. Big (SIN)cock and little (SIN)cock destroyed them with the ball.

Didn't see Eags at Oceans celebrating his ton either but they were going down nicely at the Seebreeze so he probably stayed there for a another session.

Thanks to the Tasman Hotel for letting us in at 9pm and then telling us to leave after one drink due to dress restrictions. Wouldn't have happened at the Pier to the Tasman boys!!

mainly due to nothing being on at the Pier puma. .....It would have been like a morgue at 9pm.

The text messages were a load of crap...... nothing was ever going to happen.... I spoke to a few of the lads Sat arvo watching the B grade cricket and they thought it was a hell joke!!!! Poor performance from all involved!!

G'day Sammy, how's Adelaide life? James Freemantle made 49 and looked quite handy. Change for us picking up a bloke who looks like he can bat! Not much else to report with the rest. I made 23, Tim Morton made 17, Bacon 13, Scotty Mac 15 and the rest we shall just forget about. Still have Pom, Dongah, Horgs, Cashy, Tommy G and a couple of other possibilities to come in to the side so there is light at the end of the tunnel. And you of course with your dashing running between the wickets.

Haje, would be safe to assume poor results have been met with above average bar takings. Got the last exam on Nov 20th, my return will probably conincide with a few runouts.
