This week's games should have some interesting contests, with the winners likely to be the 3 away teams.

Jervois v Imps - The Bluds should be full of confidence after coming from behind on Saturday against Tailem, however against Imps, the quality of opposition will go up a notch or 2. Imps will be fresh, and should be able to defeat Jervois by about 71-80.

Meningie v Ramblers - The Bears will be wanting to prove themselves against a quality opponent this week, however the Roosters look to be the real deal this year, the Red and Whites should get up by about 51-60.

Mypolonga v Mannum - Mannum will want to bounce back after last week's disappointment, and should have too much firepower and experience for the young Tigers, 41-50.

There is a couple of local Cooper lads at Kingston as well as Stewart the goal kicking machine. Timmy would have been fuming at their loss to Bordertown at home last Sat.What happened at the Tailem Jervois after game brawl ?

I hate to say it, but it looks like all Meningie's hard work pre-season is going down the drain ](*,) Poor blokes have been hit hard & now they are spending alot of $$$ to come 4th-5th. Without Ferenci & Benny Noske, they just dont have what it takes to compete with the top 3!! Their recruits are GUNS, but they spent up big to have a real dip at this years flag, & now lost 2 of their best 5. You just cant afford to lose players of that quality in this league at the moment. Maybe they will have a dip at replacing them? They obviously had the funds there originally so if they are going to spend 3/4 of it, why not all of it, & remain a big chance instead of mid range

Consider the poor Tigers then. Crossy worked hard to get a good side together (he should still be a Rooster), then they lose 3 Pedlers, White, Coulter, Flinn, Dunbar, Wallfried & that Panda bloke in the space of 2 years. Who'd be a coach  Still atleast they are on the right track! They have a very simular feel to them this year that we did 4 years ago when the O'neils & co returned home. All locals & very good players, just young

Wow, the bears were good today! We had 5 blokes out, but still expected to win. After today I think the comp is a little more wide open then perhaps every1 has been thinking! (including me) Just goes to show, you only need a few out to become vulnerable. We smash Mannum, Meningie & Mypo have a good game, then this week, Meningie get the better of us , so will be interested to see tomorrows game between Mannum & Mypo.

Imps hammered Jervois today aswell I think

5 handy players there.

Re today's game, noticed Mannum got up by about 12 goals. Mypo do seem to be competitive against the top teams though, will be strong favourites for 5th spot i think.

Was actually out there today, & had a good look at both sides! Mannum were just too strong physically for Mypo, however the Tigers did slice through them on numerous occasions, and looked very slick indeed at times, but just couldn't seem to keep it going. Mannum really looked alot better today then last week. I think Wakefield gives them a fair bit of versatility that they miised against us

I think imps got up in the end by about 12 - 13 goals.. imps were just too good... but a positive for jervois was seein the youngest of the hill brothers, aiden, standing up in defense.. we all know how good his brothers are (Tyron, playin at barooga and Kieren back at Jervois now) but young Aiden will play alot of seniour footbal and will become a key back man for the club..
