Still a big difference in the standard between HFL and RMFL.

Whilst i would agree that the Hills League is stronger than the RMFL, if we go by last year i think Imps would have been contenders for a top 5 spot in the Hills. They were pretty strong last year and i think would have held their own against quite a few clubs in the HFL in 2009.

Seyers??

Will play enough games to be involved in finals,
Most likely will play a few extra games aswell, when horse training is slow.

Prediction for 2010 Ladder.

Imperials
Ramblers
Mannum
Meningie
Jervois
Mypolonga
Taliem Bend

Imperials-
Pro's-- Alot of Match Practice leading into season, playing in T20 Footy and a couple trial games, have a very dominant midfield and very hard to shut down all the runners.
Con's-- Lost some good footballers in Wingard, Puckridge, Newell and Blake Harrowfield, Seyers will play a few but not the whole season.

Ramblers-
Pro's-- Recriuted a few, Big PreSeason will look hungry for there same form they showed in 2008.
Con's-- ?? WHO ARE THERE STAR PLAYERS ?? do they have any match winners?

Mannum-
Pro's-- Seen to be hungry to go one step further than last season, still have Clive.
Con's-- They will be over there Limit each week, need to play 3 juniors a week, this will hurt.

Meningie-
Pro's-- SUPRISE PACKET, they have recruited well and are in the building stage and are going to be in top 5 for the next 5 years.
Con's-- Enough Meningie weather experiance?? will they win there home games? the weather is hard to ajust to.

Jervois-
Pro's-- Ray Billing will get them straighend up a bit, plenty of youth coming thru, need too keep them there.
Con's-- Will Ray's Rules Rule the Bloods? will they be too worried about the off field rules and fail on field? do they have players that can win a game of there own boot without Rigney and Co.

Mypolonga-
Pro's-- Re-Building stages and will give alot of there younger players the chance to stand up.
Con's-- EXPERIANCE?? WHO WILL KICK TOO MARTIN?? they are the big questions..

Taliem Bend-
Pro's-- N/A
Con's-- Everything at the moment, they have won the most premierships in the RMFL and they are in a really hard stage at the moment, need to clean the club out and get people that want to play.
(Sorry Taliem Fans, Truth is harsh but the club is falling apart)

MAIL MEDAL- Jamie Honner.
GOAL KICKING- CLIVE WATERHOUSE 100+
GRAND FINAL- Imperials vs Ramblers
PREMIERS- Imperials.

Me and a mate went down and watched the game and the Imperials looked nothing like the imperials A grade side. they were playing alot of the younger fringer A grader and a couple of 17's played also. Just a few of the names I notced were mising for imps were wait, girdham, honnor, sayers, quast, one of the kenny boys, ryan eyre, josh lewis burns, luke harrowfield and there was possible more that i can't think of right now so they were heavily undermanned.

everyone talks about ramblers big guns and recruits but peolple forget about the likes of troy cowland and his absolute dominance of the wing in the past couple years.. this year he will look to break into the midfield.. ben dougall is also another handy player, a young gun.. the ackermanis of the league... J. Weyland will also be back this year, and is a very talented player who loves to get a hard ball... max rooke like.

I think it's to soon to completely write off any team. Tailem need to rebuild. They started last year with a new committee, this year with a new coach & apart from Gabb & Vickers they have got rid of the old. You can only hope the tide might turn & a in 2010 the side shows some promise. Brock comes with new ideas & respect. Something Dent may have lacked in the end. The committee could only hope to see improvement. :D

How about Ramblers' outs Goldberg? Zadow in doubt, i believe..?

If Ramblers do manage to find anywhere near their form of 2008 it will be a real battle between the leading 4 clubs with Imps, Mannum and Meningie as well.

Zadow will play but may miss a few during the start of the year! Tyson Matthew is back on board aswell, carrying a few but will be a handy inclusion once fit. May be some tension between those 2 tho

Its easy to rubbish Dent and the recruits that were there but it all comes down to the quality of local players at your club and tailem have had no decent players from tailem bend. They have always relied on recruits and when that doesnt work they blame them for there failure . Tailem are trying to recruit a couple of young guys from morphettville park in the SFL now who are A/B grade players there and offering them $250 a game look with no local talent and recruiting like this what do you expect .

After playing the Bears in a trial (& i know its only a trial) they will be alot better. Gibbs seemed to have them structured much better than 09. Bruno will be very handy.

I saw in the Sturt Reserve goal kickers a Zarantenello. Was this Pete"ladies man" Z from Jervois?
I hope someone gets Tylor Robinson down to Sturt & persist with him, that kid can play.

Girardi will last 3 rounds. After Easter expect Viney to start looking like his old man...

i think you have been sniffing to much deep heat mate the only 2 decent players Dent recuited are still there most of the blokes he came up with had big heads and no ability and he would not drop them because they wouldn't get a game in the B grade.Players are paid to play not talk. And tailem do have a good bunch of young locals that just need some QUALITY recuits around them. PS i think matt did a good job with what he had.
