I never said they will get flogged!!

Goal scoring has been an issue for them all year, they only kicked 6 on the weekend and they will need a lot more than this to beat Mallee's. Playing men loose in defence doesn't work against them so it will be interesting to see what game plan DH comes up with. I wouldn't be going for a shoot out.

Now might be a good time for you to post your thoughts on the Mallee game plan Grub, you reckon you know what they do. Give the Dee hierachy something to think about so we can get a great crowd to the GF, regardless of who I would rather see Rangers playing

Could this weekend be the last time we see MG in the Wayback colours for sometime.. My contacts in the Top End have just rang me enquiring about the little champ, they believe he is headed that way for work..
Any truth Covey, Boags or BTB??

If its true I hope the Wayback boys rally and get into the GF so he gets the chance to leave on a high!

C'mon you Dees!
It'd be worth seeing that look on MP's faces similar to last year's GF.

Almost be as good as seeing the look on btb, rossco and that big, fat, loud bloke who always wears wayback footy shorts when they go out in straight sets…

Yeah, checked out some other posters and Boony with 1500 posts is in the League sides best 22!! It's all about to change for me though, this will be my last week of consistent posting. Hope you can continue to keep the threads going and the rumours circulating, it's all in fun for me and I'll be back from time to time keeping an eye on things.

History of the ghost writers - Was about 2002 I first noticed the old footysa site, I used to post with all the SANFL guys and fight with the Bay supporters. One fine August afternoon in 2004 I noticed a poster by the name of Bluestheboy mention PL footy. We got started and after some MR v W banter Rossco turned up and the EP threads were born!!

Leaving mid October. If you can get him anything above $400 a game up there i'm sure you can negotiate a player managers fee with him.

Brad..given the recent history of the Times nothing would surprise me.

panther...I am sure you will still contribute in some way.....Yoda never truly leaves..his spirit will stay with us. Gotta say those early days were very funny indeed. The banter leading up to the 2004 GF was gold. My all time fav. was when Tony H's missus had to log on to tell Hully to get off the internet. Laughed till I cried...and the beauty was that even the trolls back then were interesting. RoosterCha and FeatherDuster were being touted as possible Presidents of the TFC.

Perhaps when Friday night footy starts in 2007 they could use upstairs as a type of Sportsbar nightclub afterwards. Try to keep the punters at Ravendale when the game finishes, have music & drink specials. Just a thought......

Everybody - guess what appears in todays WC Sentinel in the Letters to the Editor section
THE letter from Paul Vandenbergh
Wait for it - Hegs and the others including the FW league will not be happy

Also interesting to read the thread from Brad and his opinion which I take it differs from that of the Bergher

The plight of the tiger is in full swing. A recruitment commitee meeting last night came up with thirty names to contact. The ball is rolling. Contacts at Cowell, Streaky Bay, Yeelana and with the Cougars will see us approach players from those areas. Lee Watherston has indicated if he is not travelling he will return and could possibly bring with him the Turnball brothers and a guy called Tonic (dont know his real name). Brett Watherston and John Sinclair have indicated that they would be interested in returning one day.
The resources available to us will be used up as we see it as a make or break year in 2007. The money we have will be used to attract qaulity footballers and just as important qaulity people.
When the season has concluded the group of senior players mentioned last year will be approached. This would be a new challenge for them and a chance for them to help keep football alive in Port Lincoln and be applauded for it. We hope they are serious and am sure we can come to an arrangement.
Junior numbers are still strong with Luke Schrapel doing a fine job and gaining the respect of the football world. The parents seem to like him and his communication skills. Our job is to keep them here.
The hardworking commitee need praise. Working against the odds with limited resourses they battle manfully and show true tiger spirit.
The PLFL have been most co-oprative in our fight and need thanking. Good luck to all teams left alive in the finals.
Is it possible we could see the tigers return to the finals next year? We hope so.
