S.Ford i think he wears no 45??? Heard it was a decent goal got the crowd buzzing. IB must be doing alryt then if i heard he was playing B's must be some player to be getting that sort of attention and only playing Bs. are IB that good? Or is he jst playing below himself? seems the competion may have to take notice then could damage a few teams and umpire votes maybe????

fudd, johnny flo has played two games now. first game against uris he played alright got a bit of the ball but didnt dominate, last week though he played really well got about 4th best in a team that everyone carved up. all of his possies are really clean and shows some definate class, he'll only get better aswell as he learns hills football. top bloke too.

To tell you the truth super boot, everyone is playing well in both grades. There is no number one gun or driver of each side, if someone who has been playing well in the first quarter goes a bit quiet in the second, someone else steps up for the second quarter to take their place. And it is different players all the time. But most (if not all) blokes have been performing for the full four quarters.

There is a really good atmoshpere at Ironbank at the moment, absolutely everyone is doing their part towards the club performing well. It is a bloody good time to be a Thunderer!

That is great to hear Army Tank, I for one like seeing sides have very short stays at the bottom of the ladder, every team goes through it, if your club is filled with good people your stay down the lower rungs will be short lived (even though I think IB were better last year than their ladder position indicated). It shows what a couple of good recuits can do for a club when they are well-received by a solid bunch of local players. Hopefully Bridgey will experience the same. It is great for Hills footy no matter who ya follow.

He's not actually coaching but you could say that he has been helping out on the sidelines for David Murphy while he (Mitchell) is out injured. Haven't seen enough as yet to comment on the other matters but I can't be critical at this stage and he has brought two pretty handy players to the club with him.

Maccy probably didn't beat Gumeracha by as much as it should have on the weekend but Gumeracha does have some sort of future to look forward to if it can keep all the younger players together. The came out hard and keen early and they kicked accurately to make the most of their opportunities but Maccy broke it open a bit towards the end of the second quarter and it was only bad kicking that kept the score as close as it was.

Heathfield High Open boys just won there first round in knockout over Cornerstone and Birdwood High Schools. Interesting to see a young league player just quietly slotting into a forward pocket for a few minutes to turn the game Heathfields way.
