Any player that kicks 100+ goals in a season in any league is a gun IMO.

Could be several other players on the move though.

anyone know what minus is doin for next year? i think i might have to poach him..... hehehe!
(but i dunno if he'd wanna be a cat now after bein a dog for so long...)

I know that a certain northern suburbs club knows about Minus ;)

As for Lippis - firstly guys cut out the insults (and the return fire FS). This is a pretty good forum and place for discussing Riverland footy, I don't want to see it disintegrate or to lose posters through banning. Keep the petty s*it off line.

Secondly, the info on Lippis not playing next year comes from a very good source. FS would certainly know who this source is if he asked.
If he is having the season off for the reasons that this source suggested, I reckon good on him for being dedicated to his famil
Some may not rate Lippy and some may question his courage but he's still a dangerous player whether a Lion or a Swan.

bang. bang, bang, he's a gun. Not. He is absolute poo.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep

No

Done some digging on the Westley appointment.
Ditmar still applied for the job.
Apparently the vote was a fair landslide in Westley's favour.

How can you replace a coach that takes a club from 3 wins to 11 wins?

So CN, do you think A.Lloyd and N. Rover will still play?

And lastly, nothing against Westley, but how can you expect support from players that you spent the last 2 years playing against and plotting their downfall?

I think that the return of both Arrod and his dad to the A grade team is great for the club.
A lot of the old faces will start to return.
It is sad that Ditty wasn't given another year, because he always said he wanted to do it for 2 years.
But having said that, if Arrod can keep most of this year's players, plus the ones he's bringing, Paringa should be reasonably strong next year.

As for getting player respect, I don't think it will be too hard.
Just talking to the lad you can see how keen he is and how much he wants the club to succeed.

Have heard Ramco have a big player influx for 2009.
Will be very tough to beat methinks.

Have to agree with you there OXnFOX.

A gun my arse. The term is thrown around far too loosely. If you referring to lippis what about his stint in Renmark and Berri for that matter. Too busy pumping up his own tyres and no performance to back it up. He is a reasonably good indy player and thats where it ends.
He reminds me of scott hodges - couldn't make it at the next level. When you talk about guns it is blokes who can play at just about any country level. Lippis has proven to struggle at the next level let alone be able to make it in some of the better country leagues.

Seems with a big player influx and only one team to fill a lot of the Ramco faithful who stuck with the team when they received the 'spoon' last year will be missing out on a game this year.

Loxton talking to a former WWTFC player. If they can find him a job - he's here.
