Scoob, did you lose any B graders who played A's on Saturday and can't come back down? Will you front?

Lost Piggy mcConnell who has been really good. Big loss to our midfield, Wizza can't play either so we are a couple down.
Not sure whether I will play.... Will have to train Thursday to get a game and if it blows up like it has, I would be very doubtful.

If you play, I'll see to it that Lincoln Magpie stands you and steps on it. With his barrel that would be the end of ya!!

the TFC have gone about the grant tanner issue with total consent from, and respect for wally. He knew from day one and supported the possibility of the club gaining the services of a bloke like tanner.

i am not saying it is the ideal scenario but if wally didn't want the club to speak to tanner it was not going to happen. when players or coaches of this callibre come over if you don't get in early they will end up elsewhere. wally is a top bloke and a great coach, he along with the rest of the TFC just want to put ourselves in the best possible position to win a much needed flag in the coming years.

my aplologies, I can confirm that the WFC have in deed spoken to Tanner...my bad. That was three years ago, and we preferred to pass. All yours db....an blowfish, its fine to speak to a prospective coach, but cannot believe the timing. Regardless of what Wally has said, it is a slap in the face to a loyal servant....imho

the timing is no good. The core player group is very happy with wally as our coach. If he wants to stay on the boys will be right behind him no questions about that. if he wants a break we will respect his decision. personally i think our under performing is a lack of quality cattle issue not a coaching one. i myself would like to see wal stay on but that call is his and the committee's.

OVER MY DEAD BODY
no deal then blues. the thought was he might bring a bit of toughness our way and make a team instead of individuals. DG has been linked to Cougers aswell.

sounds to me as if wally said goodbye in the paper today blowfish.

3 MPFC players were involved in a huge fight at the clubrooms on the weekend and since all have been banned for the season. 2 play seniors and the other reserves.

Hmmm...can't imagine where some of their juniors get their lack of respect and crappy attitude from.

Had an interesting experience taking photos at the local footy Saturday... a couple of kids came up to me and said "can you take our photo, Im one of the kids that got suspended".... pretty funny.
Glad we arent training anymore given the conditions last night..... conditions were great in the Sandbar.

Won't be the first time those young lads get their photo taken grub.

I hear the serial offenders covered themselves with glory at the Wayne Evans Shield on sunday. Played a couple of overage kids (one had a moustache and sideburns, the other drove to the game), abused a junior official and were involved in a minor assault while shaking hands after the last game. All in all not a great month for them.

Speaking of which, the PLFL is bracing for a fiery opening 2 games this saturday. Extra police and experienced umpires have been called in.

Rumor doing the rounds at the moment is that 3 clubs in Port Lincoln have arranged to meet after the season to discuss a possible break away to the GFFL. 2 of the clubs have already spoken to their netball clubs about the matter with a positive response.

In regards to the kids - so much for the counselling they supposedly had - when will it be the last straw?
Can't say anything against "the 3 clubs" - why wouldn't they with what has gone on here
