A few comments from last night were, How did Johncock after kicking 26 goals only get 1 vote? Bryant 18 = 1 vote. I saw the first game of the year souths v bostons and North dominated from CHF kicking 8 goals and didnt get a vote. 3 votes to eckerman in the last game for souths and they lost by 10 goals and he was named 6th best for souths according to bluey.
There must be plenty more stories like that. anyone got anymore?
What are your thoughts there umpy?

Since i didn't see either game, i don't have any! Can't have an opinion on it if i didn't see it!

Wes Bilney's a good, classy player but to be honest i've never seen him get the hard ball!! Can anyone disagree with that?

What type of club would be reviewing or interviewing prospective coaches until the year was over.....what an effort by the roosters both on and off the field.

nothing wrong with that blues, the opportunity came and we had to look at it. As usual we get in first and get the best eg. Ravendale . Waybacks and Souths have also phoned Tanner , care to deny that?.

My wife know Grants wife and Tasmans flew Grant and his father over for the weekend for an interview and look around. He was rather impressed with the set-up and willtake the job over here if suitable employment is found. I can also confirm he has been contacted by another club in Lincoln. How would Wally feel?

Great efort from Jay considering he missed 6 games due to state/adelaide commitments. An extremely talented level headed kid who at only 16 obviously has a big future. Gave Tumby something to smile about after a dismal performance on Saturday !!

What a big week in football.
Mallee Park were awesome and sent a warning to those people sitting at the bowling green that they will test them. The league werent all that impressed with Marble Range not paying and drinking their own alcohol and not supporting the league.
Congratulations to Michael Paech on winning our best and fairest and runner up Sideshow I think they call him.
We are set to announce a big signing in the next week, just need to finalize the deal.

A lot of us paid to watch the u/14's. Wasn't our alcohol, we make nothing from the Bowling Club. Fairly quiet at the bar was it with out MR propping up the numbers as usual, we'd be well in front of other clubs for profits to the League with our support.....

yeah was a good game dickiebird. nothing in it at half time before, a send off to wirrulla a couple of minutes into the 3rd proved costly as they only had 17 on the ground. in this 15 min period elliston kicked 6 or 7, which was the difference in the end. wirrulla did well to kick 7 goals in last qtr. this week should be a cracker, was only a goal the difference between west coast hawks and elliston in the 2nd semi. the hawks may have the upper hand...got a fairly significant trump card up there sleeve!! but time will tell. my tip: hawks in a close one.

Yes dickie, you are the envy of the league....for the record the WFC have not spoken to Tanner (or any one) relating to coaching in 2007....
Grub..the GM may be a highly sought after commodity next year if the coaching merry go round plays out like rumoured on here.
