Pretty sloppy. The game was no highlight reel. The HUGE ruckman showed some pace but apart from that a couple of midfielders knew their way around and that was pretty much it. A long year ahead for Tailem is my tip.

Not sure if they were full strength but it appeared to me that most recruits played. $ammy Mahoney had a few attempts at running, kicking a goal whilst I was there sitting in a FP

Borders to win doesn't matter who they play could be one of many but will still be to strong.. Just hope someone can put up a better contest than the pies did last yr..
Trevor Rigney to win goal kicking if he stays fit..
Grieger to win the medal

Was at borders trial on the Friday night against Keith! It was a very one sided game in the three quarter a grade trial , I reckon Keith got up buy about twelve goal ! Would of hated to see the score if it had been a full trial! Borders had a couple of alright midfielders but lacked forwards ,and I think they are rucking that 38 year old recruit! That king from southern league dominated for Keith midfield! And there new ruck looked good! Also heard tailed beat lameroo convincingly !

Not too many clearances have left borders
Should still be very strong with good culture
Ty McKenna the notable absentee in my books.

Good to see Scotty fish back at lameroo. Hope he is as good as when he left.

Any more news on karoonda and peake?

Pies have been looking sharp on the track. Will be without a few guns for first month though. Quin has been tearing up the track! Moving like a 21 year old. He is putting it down to 'happy wife, happy life'

So has quinny been working hard on the game plan of isolating Donald 'spud-regus' Andrews inside the forward 50 and give him as many 1 on 1s as possible?? Im hearing that plan could be the key to unlocking BDTs dominance in the league

Some interesting results on the weekend. Looks as though the year could be a good scrap right up to finals.
Mahoney not in the goals for peake? Is he running it out in the midfield all day?

I thought the same thing when I seen that he wasn't In the goal kickers.. Especially after hearing all about his 7 goals in 3 quarters couple wk prior in a trial :) bumped into Sam and Trevor Rigney at crows yesterday and apparently Sam only played 5 min of the first quarter and went off with a sore knee. Seemed to be getting around on it fine yesterday said he'll be back In the square this wk.. Trevor seem like he had been enjoying the day taking care of the supply in the corporate box.. :partyman:

Mahoney knee,k jaensch knee not sure how bad, and 2 B-graders filling in the BDT A-grade northcot and Richards both knees as well. Nearly all players cramping late in the game, maybe a issue with the surface!!!
