BDT obviously looking to be strong again, strengthening their back 6 with the inclusions of Butlers son and Ox Matt James. Thought that they were only allocated 5 pts this year or does the first player be a 0 pointer cause he is the coaches son?

Would think that the points would be fine. Very handy pick ups BDT will always be strong good culture can't see anyone having the spread of talent as they do. Will be hard to beat.. Also heard Grieger has been able to round up a couple handy player from WWT..

I believe that the Matthew James that bdt recruited is 37 years old ! Hardly a spring chicken ! The coaches son can definitely play!! Also have heard that it is confirmed that Richardson had gone to meningie and taken another one with him! The story goes that they have now lost ten of there premiership team ! Maybe vulnerable for first time in a while ?? Any thoughts ???

Old Ox james better value than butler. Butler is just serviceable. Half back flanker / back pocket

Borders will still be the measuring stick. Their b grade had plenty of talent that is very capable of playing in the As and will be chomping at the bit after a few years of working hard to try and get a spot.
Any trial matches in the pipeline? We had a crack at mypo last night. Got shown a few things that can get done better but a fair hit out this far out from the season

Yeah I have to agree with you Little Master.
Played against Ox, although it was a few years ago and he is a very solid boy who could play. Tough as nails.
Played with Butler and I wasn't that impressed but then again he didn't play a lot of games that season.
Saying that the year after the coach said he was a gun, so who knows. I think he is a very solid, not flashy but consistent back man.
I know the Bays are disappointed in losing him.

Any news from the Peake V Tailem trial tonight? Just hope Tailem didn't get flogged, feel sorry for them with the players they have lost.

Any idea if Gregurke or O'connel played for them?

How are Peake looking for this season anyway? Lost a few from what I have heard but have they gained much?

Trev played, was fairly quiet till released onto the ball last quarter. Phillips looked good. Baker was quiet. Depth against BDT etc will be a big test for Peake this year.

Very exciting to watch Trevor when he's on love watching him jump!! Have heard peake have pick up a few handy players but lost a few mid range type players so do agree their depth will be tested..
