Talk on any country footy league or club from the SA Country area

Knowing Lincoln umps' track records, no penalty.
But agreed, WCP - we don't know fully what happened, even though Grub has cleared a lot of it up. Suspension for an errant elbow...maybe. But hurting someone in a brawl, well, he could very well get off this. Always risks when you take issue with people in footy. Although, did the youg fella throw a punch or just pushy shovey? May have to just wait on this one.
I know first hand about that bloke's antics though...a game would teach him...oh, maybe not.

He will never learn........ :?

I was only told the ump was 10, this could well be incorrect so please disregard all references to umpires age. As long as his eyes work, it's irrelevant anyway.

further investigation has found the ump was a lad that plays in our U17s.... his age is 17. He has umpired other matches where LS werent involved, so he is a paid umpire and the fact that he played footy earlier in the day wont come into it according to my source. He was only rostered on to do this game as he had to play at Wangary the same day.
We have all swung our arms back to shepherd and collected someone high at some stage in our careers, I just hope he gets a fair trial as I dont believe he intentionaly did it..... which I doubt he will. All depends whos on the tribunal eg. Lumpy Page ect.
Wheres Eski?
Bystander what card was he given? he never played after that moment.... yet was able to be replaced straight away.... i CANT WORK THAT OUT?. Was the Bgrade game official or not? Did you do MM votes?

Moving on, does anyone give Tasmans a chance this week? I've heard that half of Mallee's went up to Ceduna last week to watch the GF, hence the closer result in the game against Bostons. Finals footy is always different and Tasmans did knock them over early in 2005. As a betting man though, I'd be surprised if the margin was any closer than 8 goals.

And the B grade, will the Dees get a few back this week? Can they shut down the peckers run from the middle, that's what you need to do!! How is Waybacks selection going to go having the two grades in different finals, good thing or bad thing?

would prefer to be playing on the same day WCP but we have a good idea of who will be lining up. We will have only a few come back in and we need to turn around our form very quickly. Expect a good contest.

bish, you are being a bit coy there buddy. Waybacks will be seeking permits for 4 long trm injured A Grade players this Thursday night at the Permit Tribunal. The Hawe is keen to get a game under their belts before the 2nd semi. Corey also expects to welcome back 3-4 qaulity B graders for the Peckers clash.
Strong rumors coming out of New West Road Hq is that Wes Bilney has won the 2006 Mail Medal. Could well be a clean sweep of MM's for the peckers.
A (not so little) bird tells me that Wally and Hanks (or Wallace and Grommit according to my source) have not spoken since training last week. Wally was very keen for Waybacks to win on Saturday. Would have meant that both Rooster sides would have played 1st semi, and he could have showed Hanks who runs the show.
Which of the four sides in the PL finals has already sounded out a GF coach about his intentions next year?

Horgan to stay at Tumby, Evo same at EU, Piro commited to Lock & ML to stay at Yeelanna - confirmed. That leaves Roger and Justin Pedler ......

Why aren't the Demons keeping Hawes? 2 years isn't that long. And Souths give a bloke 1 year, do they?

Already the 'speculation' has a poster asking why Waybacks are getting rid of Hawesy. Quick grub, out with it before we have every PL club chasing a GF coach.....

Card given was yellow, but he was NOT replaced straight away as i kept watch on the time and did several head counts during that 10 minutes, (and did exactly the same when Cuddy was yellow carded), his decision to walk off and stay off was entirely his own as Zoomer asked him where he was going as he passed the railing, (i didn't hear a response), only to return in track-suit minutes later, to sit with the crowd.
B's was a scatch match - no votes given.
