Skillful wingman/flanker, played in the Southern League prior to Tailem, i think for Marion.

K_P, would he have another year of colts??

Yeh thats Gene Robinson, has grown a little bit now, but yeh, its the same kid who kicked nearly 200 goals in two seasons of 15s, and 17s footy, including 100 goals ina year and also a connolly medal..

The kid is also only 16, so you do the math wether he is still 17s... DRAMA :D

Must have missed the part where it was mentioned he was 16, I do apologise. So that's confirmed that's his age then? So he may not even be playing A grade for a season. A minus point if he does, so that's a positive.

Come to Tailem with a fairly good wrap... apparently he had gone alright previously. Turned out he was a fringe A grade player in a side that finished 5th, with no fitness base and no good performaces to suggest he was worth anything at all.

That's not to say he's a bad player... I just know Tailem Bend didn't see what he had to offer, if anything at all.

We are training 3 nights a week and he has not missed a session this year.
He is not after money either as he has a mate playing with us so if he keeps training as hard as he is he could be ok for us.

JJ is a good player when fit as stated. Won a game for the Lions with an after the siren goal v marion a few years back. He is a great bloke but his greatest talent is undoubtably his voice, he can belt out some creedence classics like no other!

My mail is Chris Hall has signed for 2 years at Mannum but has offered to give back some of his match payments to cover the transfer fee to Glenelg. ($5000). Also heard Clayton will definately play in 2011 at Mannum, could still be a chance to play this year after Ports bye in Round 14.

I think they'd struggle to fit them all in their points allocation.

Havent heard nothing down here. If so would only be some local older guys who are coming back to play with mates in the 2's.

Sounds like Meningie are on the right track there. Getting old scholars back involved with your club is a v/good idea. Brad Biddle will tear up this year, with a good midfield & a year on from knee surgery, look out comp for this bloke is my opinion

Have heard recently that Young Gun Ben Dougall is back from cricketing duties, and is keen for a year of football.... Will be more then helpful for the roosters as they badly needed a small forward last year to kick 35-50 goals in a year...

Doogs was in good form saturday night!
gotta get rid of those terrible earrings though.

i would suggest though if he keeps his cricket form up in town he will get a redbacks rookie contract or a full one. and wont be able to play much footy, like smithy.

with all these blokes coming into mannum IF james could play mannum would be untouchable.
