Great to see Ramblers and Tumby having a night game should get heaps there.
I reckon we should have some of those !
Talked to a few Tassie players cant wait to see how they go against a few ex AFL players.
Heres a thought if the Peckers lose today will they fold and everyone go and chase some money?
or will they try and put the pressure on a few more ex players to come back to the fold?

Tasman - 1-39. pecker park looks magnificent.
Waybacks - 40+
Bostons - 1-39 . The tigers game plan of 9 in the backlines will mean they will only need 8 goals to win.

Waybacks up by around 8 goal. Can anyone tell me why that fat bloke that normally goal umpires, was boundary umpire? At one stage play was in the forward pocket and he was still on the back flank

Dion? He of the tight bike shorts unfortunately outlining his package?

He does it when clubs/umpires are short, and generally after umpiring anything from under 15's, 17's, and then B's, if he has to boundary the A's, then no shocker he's stuffed- especially with this physique... ;)

I had a look at the Demons game and they were not very impressive at all.

I dont like to bag umpires but I remember thinking that umpire did take a long time to get the ball back to the centre after each goal.

That was the smallest crowd I have ever seen at ravendale for a PLFL match. Can anyone suggest why? Do people from these 2 clubs really hate the place that much.
Somebody in the car next to me mentioned they didnt even open the canteen.

How did P Burgoyne play?

That's some high quality trolling right there, Shags....

I think the best side in the last ten years was probably the Brian Ramsey led team that made the four...

FWIW, Aron Redman (15) played his second game of A's and will be much better for the run he's getting...

Real grind at ravendale. Full credit to the young eagles who were far more committed than the demons. Jerry at CHF was massive. Eagles led till time on in the third. 57 point margin flattering indeed.
Nast injury to Davidson. Looks like broken led and flown to adel.
Great guy and hope all goes well.

I heard PB was very good but might be nursing a sore jaw

Daicos, I think your comment isn't giving Lincoln South any credit at all. In the first half they were the better team on the park because they ran really well and were lead very well by Jericho and Kemp who showed the young brigade how to go about things. Young Hall (I assume that is kerrin's brother) and Traeger were magnificent also. Having said that in the second half when the game needed to be won, the wayback leaders lead from the front brilliantly. Goodwin, keatley, hunt and rawson were magnificent. Also the contest between Kemp and Konitzka was a beauty all day. EP selectors were there and would not have been disappointed at all with what they saw from both of them.

Maybe not the most impressive win but got the points by a fair margin in the end.
