What was the result of that one OnSong? We have played Berri a few times in trials and they gave us a belting when we played there, but think we knocked em off when they came down our way, probably because no bugger wanted to come that far. I'd imagine if the match was in Berri it may have got a tad messy.

Berri got up by a few goals but both teams we severely undermanned. Berri were missing 13 A Graders and Eudunda weren't at full strength either. Berri played with 12 players who are still eligible for Under 18's, so it was promising that the kids performed from Berri's point of view.

I remember playing the Pies in 2008 at Mallala and we had a pretty decent team that day from the squad we had. Bear in mind the Demons were 5th of 6 in 2008 and 6th of 6 in 2009 when you guys came up.

Did they hide around the corner from their changeroom and yell "Boo" as Nuri ran past?

It is good to see you being positive Skip, but don't get too excited just yet. Nuri are doing a lot of weight training at the moment as they need to get stronger to be able to hold up every other team on the ladder this year (they will finish bottom) plus they also had quite a few out.

Weight training 2 weeks out from the season... I'd be more worried about the actual skills and tactics etc if i were Nuri. Bottom is looking a very likely spot for the tigers.
As for the saints, also looking down the barrel of a spoon, but should be more competitive.

I think UTP was making a joke about weight training and holding up the ladder SD!

Ryan Darlings link to Two Wells is off the mark. If he went to the APFL at all he would be in an Eagles guernsey. Thats the only other club you would see him at. And still very unlikely.

Nah not a Pirie lad but get up there quite often for family reasons. Usually have to lock the car and put it under a spotlight or be prepared to rent a Cortina to get back down the highway.
Doing lunch at Skillogalee on Sunday but doesn't mean I'm from Sevenhill either.

Saw Ryan's dad, Wayne Darling, in deep conversation with Bugsy at the Balak vs Two Wells game on Saturday, also was hanging around their huddle at breaks.

Well it's settled then! He's obviously off to the Roosters. Nothing to do with them both being at the same club for most of their careers I wouldn't think. Good try at stirring the pot though Hazbeen! :)

I've heard he isn't too happy at Blyth lately.
Apparently he's lost that lovin' feelin'.
