Some of the country leagues have had informal discussions about this being the last Mortlock
in its current format.
which would be a pity because I genuinely believe that most guys aspire to play at the highest
level. So back to Districts and City for 2012 and hope this placates the other participants.
We could follow Rugby and have a City vs Country game now that would be a ripper!
Would not be a fan of Tasmans v Ramblers it would confuse me :(

I had an absolute essay typed up about this, then I realised it's pretty simple.

If Lincoln had not dominated the carnival over the last couple of years, would the other leagues want us to split again? No.

Just because Lincoln is currently a dominant side- like Great Flinders before us, it doesn't mean it's staying that way forever...

Leave it as it is...

As soon as Whyalla wanted out, they wanted back in, so when KI call it due to travel, Whyalla can slot back in...

I was not suggesting that Tasmans had won a premiership, I was susggesting at present they are the premier side. You might need to check the dictionary on that Leonidis to work out the difference.

In Bluey Dunns from the bench he states that "Qaude Ware is a mobile ruckman who is clever with his ruckwork and gives the onball brigade every chance of first use".
I have never seen Qaude in the ruck in the couple of Pecker games I have seen, has anyone else seen him in the ruck?

Daicos, I think you will find that until 5 pm GF day, Mallee Park are the Premier side.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

It's that time of year- Bluey Dunn's writing about the 61 Premiership and George Burgoyne's 14 goals...

I think some of you should appreciate what you have. I'm near a comp that has ditched it's shield aspect due to, in all honesty, guys not giving a sh%t. IF you have the guys with passion that want to represent, lap it up!
Weather - it's a winter sport.
Lack of quality - not from what you guys have said. If the leagues trott out their absolute best, I think you have a good weekend ahead.
Prices - I paid $7.80 for a f'n Superdry at AAMI and it still rained and there was still some lack of quality ;)
Media Park, you're spot on - footy ebbs & flows, don't split Lincoln.

Yes I would go and watch Tasmans v Ramblers. You could call it the Ken Whelan Fan Cup ;)

You could have watched the two runners up from Lincoln and GF in late march. Cougars played tasmans and won easily. Mortlock is fantastic always will be. Remember how many people come to Lincoln and stay the whole weekend and spend wingloads of hard-earned in the town. We are not upset bout Lincoln winning the wheel will turn

MP kicked 8 goals (5 in the first game, three in the third), and I think he'd be leading the goal kicker award.

I'm just going to get it out of my system now, for the first and last time publicly...

Last night at a dinner, Dirty Harry resuscitated someone after they lost consciousness.

Well done, Malcolm.
