Just wondering whether HB were recruiting for gun players or just reliable a graders... I wouldhave thought recruits/imports/paid players/whatever you want to call them would be expected to lead from the front...

Is it a touchy subject or something? Pretty simple question i thought.

Not Touchy, it came across as a statement rather than a question.

Reliable A graders to answer your question.

the games played on the 4ed site is mostly from the last 3 yrs i was told, have watched a few trainings from clubs and would predict a hummocks/mallala replay, balaklava, virginia, wells, united, hamley.the last three will be very close.
As for a magpie leaving the nest had a good talk to him and he wont be going anywhere, just needs to stick at it and the rewards will come his way.

No it is a good question Tex. I guess this year we have tried to recruit reliable footballers that are also reliable blokes.

Most of the recruits will be amongst the oldest in the team (not that old I might add). So yeah, they will naturally have experience and hopefully set a good example for the young lads. They all should be very copetitive A Graders.

Does this answer your question? I sense you were hinting at something else???

i was chatting to your coach on the weekend and he said that one of the reasons for hamleys improvment last year was he thought he coached alot better. he said having harvey pissing in his ear during all the <a onMouseOver="javascript:window.status='<a onMouseOver="javascript:window.status='travel';return true;" onMouseOut="javascript:window.status='';return true;" href="http://dingalone.info/?v=4%2E04&ss=travel">travel</a>';return true;" onMouseOut="javascript:window.status='';return true;" href="http://dingalone.info/?v=4%2E04&ss=<a onMouseOver="javascript:window.status='travel';return true;" onMouseOut="javascript:window.status='';return true;" href="http://dingalone.info/?v=4%2E04&ss=travel">travel</a>">travel</a> they done together wasnt helping. mind u he had had a couple drinks of the old truth serum by this time lol. and before anyone gets carried away hamley did show improvment, might not have in the wins coloum but were alot more competitive. he reckons harvey might be a good footballer but nothing between the ears when it comes to strategies. :o

Ha ha These comments about my coach and a former gun team-mate, coming from you? I heard you were quite critical of those blokes when they left Angaston?

ACE, Lets just say Mr. Hermann did not leave much in the Kitty and had a bit of cash to play with while he was there

Players like Mackenzie, Sandlands, Slattery, Miles, Horsefield, Hermann, Young etc do not play for meat trays :)

So for Ben it was tough early to cover the losses, without the funding.

But this has improved now, and this year (unlike last year) we have recruited some top blokes and players to the club that will stick around and do the right thing.

if hamley keep getting pumped week in week out they will be recycling players every summer no player paid or not is going to enjoy the trip to lochiel this year
