Things still haven't changed at Karoonda FC. I was at the game on the weekend between Lameroo and Karoonda and to my amusement overheard the three musketeers ("the hierachy") at work again slagging off the new coach in the change rooms after the game. Better watch your back Quinny or you will be pulling out the daggers just like ex-coach Smelty, I bet he's still trying to pull out the daggers after his departure from the club. Perhaps if we spent more time supporting our coaches rather than bagging them we might get the result we all want - a Premiership!!! Good luck Quinny and keep up the good work, don't let our local hierachy try to sway the way you want to coach.

I am sure Smelty is used to pulling out the daggers no matter where he goes. He is probably laughing while reading this over a southern comfort and enjoying life after football.

Straight Talker, I have only met Smelty a couple of times but he strikes me as being a pretty up front bloke who doesn't need to back stab! He would tell you straight to your face what he thinks. From what I've heard that is part of the reason he left Karoonda, they couldn't handle some home truths from somone not afraid to stand up to them !! Don't know what he's up to now but good luck to him and his replacement at Karoonda.
