If Waterhouse is getting $1200 a game then Brunoli's worth $1500' he'll be odds on to win the medal.

What was the connection? He knew some of the Norwood lads that played at Meningie last year? He'd have to be on a heap $$$ to travel that far.

Not sure but probably did. A reasonable amount too I believe, hard to match in town.

The amount i have been told is not far away from 4 figures.

Not sure how true that is though

Definately up there....Amateur clubs couldnt match it!!!

JERVOIS
- looking for new coach
- few players rumoured to be looking at playing in the South East with Tim Richards

Anyone got any rumours/news to add to that list?[/quote]

Mahony and Braidwood to play under Tim Richards at Kingston in 2010!

I thought all you Jervois Panthers were dead!! Heard absolutely nothing from u during August & September ;) ;)

I guess with a new year comes new hope hey! But with the new coach announcing their new drug policy, their will be a few new departures from the homeland, some long term Bluds locals too. :weedman:

The big new question is what are we going to call you guys now that the South connection is seemingly disappearing. With Ray a former Sturt lacky, maybe he will bring some Blue lads to the bluds??? They will need a few to be competitive if all the departures eventuate

If I'm reading & hearing right, gone are:
Rigney- Goolwa
Mahoney- Kingston
Braidwood- Kingston
Tomlinson- Myponga
Schmidt- Myponga
Sterzl- Myponga
Hutchinson- Myponga
Burkett- Karoonda

Has this guy had much of an impact yet?

Been at the Bluds for about 3 or 4 years now, big unit but is prone to injury.

i played with Jimmy Lyon at Valleys and he was well known for being on the soft side. For a ruckman, u want a guy who's hard at it which the club found he wasnt. He left the club after the '03 Premiership.

Can confirm that he isn't! 'Unfinished business' is the phrase that's being bandied about...

Heard on the weekend that Jervois are going down a different path next season regarding recruits. There is not going to be the huge dollars that they have paid out in the last 4 years.I can`t see them recruiting many players and their golden years are well over for the time being.

Can anyone confirm that Mannum have signed YPFL player - Rick Hunter. From Moonta. Makes for a potent forward line with Waterhouse.

I can confirm that Waterhouse is staying and that Hunter has signed with Mannum.
There could also be another signing that will top both of them but can not confirm as yet.
