words of wisdom wrote:Hey BJ, i see you had a kick with Luke Button last week. He can play. We've got him tomorrow, how did he go 4 SA? No doubt you'd be looking forward to The big "Cheese" kicking a ton! Definently deserves it.

WoW he is a gun and will repel many of ur attacks tomorrow i imagine. I dont know their back set up but he would be a good match up for Reid as would have the pace and leap to match it with him in the air! Luke was very good in Shepparton and probably a little stiff to miss All Australian, but our results didnt help our players make that side so there are probably a few in that boat.

Big Cheese tomorrow hopefully he does kick the 2 required. I imagine Golding will go to him and thats always a very good duel. Daves having a fantastic season and along with Bomber are great focal points for our side. Makes it a lot easier to have confidence going forward with 2 big forwards like them.

I think Zadow will get Reid and Luke will zone off across H/B. I would love to see Button vs Rigney but i dont think they're willing to leave him at F/B. I also was looking at the Gsfl site and noticed that the F/B of the century, Matty Radbone, only needs 6 games 4 his league life membership(The GF perhaps). GUN :prayer:

I wouldnt have thought Luke would have the pace to go with Trev. In the air could definitely match it with him but i agree leaving Butts at Fullback wouldnt be the best spot for him.

Matty Rads is a superstar!!! I didnt realise he was that close to player life membership. Thats great news and hopefully he does make it there this year!

Teff i know youre not lindsee bessani  On a diifferent subject who is the tip for the mail medal my money would be on Nathan Genovese from willunga and tilt hutchy from the mudlarks might get a few 2nds pheraps hodgey from victor O love from the bays i wonder how many votes the umpire friendly baxter from the demons will poll he always got the votes in the past.
Resrves a toss up between Joe hill of the creeks and gilby or anderson from the demons.
Premiership in the 17s is an open race my tip would be a willuga/mclaren grandy

Hammsy will have to poll quite a few for Willunga, if he does not win i think too many Demon players will steel votes of each other for them to have the winner. Tilda is a chance, just hope richardson or eagleton from strath don't win, they would be up there for the dirtiest players in the league. Lovey may poll quite a few, yeomans will get just about every vote for the saints. My tip is Hams with 5 willunga players in the top 10!

I think Mclaren are gone in the senior colts race, creeks are the dark horse but i think it will be Compass and Willunga in the grand final.

I'm not sure how much 2's footy you've seen this year but Joe Hill would be lucky to get in the top 10 for the club B&F.

Barry works as hard as any coach if not harder. He has blooded a lot of kids this year and continues to work with the younger players in the B grade to instill a strong work ethic. To think Barry sits there and just lets things roll on is so far from the truth and he in fact works us harder to keep us on our toes.

I agree there have been some great coaching efforts this season, Saunders to continue on with this young group of his, complimenting it with some experienced quality players. I think Simmons has done a great job to keep the Creeks up the top of the ladder despite the amount of his top players leaving at seasons end last year. You could put a case forward for each coach as they all do a fine job and to go through each ones strengths and what theyve done would be too hard as im not involved in their inner sanctums at each club.

Not you aswell! :)

Tip for the medal is hard. Id be thinking along the lines of Eagleton, Maxfield, Carnevale, Hams and Love. Bailey has been Compass' best as well as Webb aswell but are there too many vote stealers at the doggies with Superman Marcus back aswell?

Owen Love for me, his side in the fight for 5th so wont have as many stealing votes and by all reports having a stellar season!

I hope that wasn't the highlight of your year last week LF?

By the way, he already has a fan club and we'll be following him from end to end for as long as it takes although I doubt we'll need to change ends at all this weekend. If you would like to join us you are more than welcome. Happy to have a beer with you any time

Come on you blokes, this country needs strong leaders who are not afraid to answer the tough questions and perhaps be a little controversial from time to time. All BJ Ernest would be good for is a Miss Congeniality contest.
