GPE host Yank - Both with the one win but Yank have been a mile more impressive with several narrow losses and should easily account for GPE today
Yank by 46 points Yank won by 36 points
Myp/Sell host E Bay in the match of the Day. Vital game for both teams to stay in touch of the Top 3. Both teams have been solid this year so far without being spectacular. Home ground advantage with cold and slippery conditions may favour the Mudlarks enough to get them home.
Myp/Sell by 16 points E Bay won by 11 points
Victor host Compass. Victor are undefeated and certainly wont be losing this one. Compass are certainly in the mix for a finals spot but are a fair way off challenging the top few as has shown in their results so far.
Victor by 56 points Victor won by 102 points
McLaren host Strath. McLaren would be considered Victors main danger to a flag this season. They had a tough battle last week against the Creek before getting the win. Will be no more than a training run this week against Strath who have sunk to a level not seen i the last 50 years.![]()
McLaren easily by 100+ McLaren won by 156 points
Creeks host Willunga. These 2 teams have had an extraordinary amount of close finishes including draws over the last 25 years and today may see the same again. Willunga after a rare finals miss last year have bounced back and are on track to play finals. Have had narrow but good wins over Bays and Myp/Sell whilst their only loss was to McLaren and that was pretty comprehensive as well. Creeks have been going through a tricky phase the last 18 months and whilst only winning once in their past 12 matches they are being very competitive for large portions of their games. As they showed last week by matching it with McLaren for all but the 3rd quarter. Creeks dont have the match winners they once had to deliver knockout blows and will again have to be content with a competitive loss i feel ?
