Get him back this week for the Victor game, he would be a handy in against a running side like Victor.

No Hooper for the Bays, I wouldn't think he is a required player cuzzy? The funny thing is the SANFL may not have U/19s next year.

he wouldnt be required, especially not agaisnt a physical side like victor which they will be very physical playing agaisnt us, give him a love tap and hes no good. Hooper is like fevola, if hes on hes on, if hes not he spits the dummy and has a winge, no room for a player like that this week.

Must be why he keeps threatening to go to McLaren; any truth he attended the McLaren Game and watched you boys from their side of the oval with their supporters?

As it turned out McLaren toppled the previously top placed Roos 10-0-60 to zip! Obviously the mercy rule was enforced so it was most likely an even bigger margin than that.

Huge margin for a match between 2nd and 1st. Have the McLaren lads been swabbed???

I am fairly certain that VH had some key players (you only need your best 3 out in juniors and it makes a big difference) out so it probably wasn't a true indication of the way the comp is. The JColts is actually very close. Last week Willunga rolled McLarens then this weekend the 6th place Saints beat Willunga. The top 7 are all capable on their day. Having said that, Mclarens would be favourites to take it out

When McLarens first played Victor they had all of their 'senior players' out whereas last week they had all of them in, made a huge difference.

In regards to when McLarens were beaten by Willunga you might find that McLarens 'beat' themselves, from what I've heard a lack in team play perhaps and a bit too much 'individualism' in the side on the day.... but it's all a learning curve for them I suppose :)

But I think you're right McLarens with their full squad and right conditions with the likes of Zach Cameron on board should take out the premiership again this year O:)

Obviusly the most important game this week will be the local derby down at Victor Harbor. There seems to be a few regulars on this site from both clubs who might be able to answer a few questions about the big clash.. Will we see both teams take the field close to full strength? Who's your tip? Up until last week I would've thought Victor would be favourites but the Bays have had their first win against a top 5 side and will be full of confidence. I'm tipping the Roos in a tight one and I reckon there'll be a few blues throughout the match to add to the drama.

Should be a good tough match. I hope, and think Victor will get up. After seeing both teams play this year i think Victor are a much more skillful side. As for the drama part of the game, doesn't drama seem to follow the Bays whoever they play against?

Victor in a close one for me but after bays victory last week it wont come as a big shock if they are to get over the line and look at playing finals footy.

I'll say Bays to get up by 3 goal..

bays by 5 + goals with Brown, Heuskes, Baggs, Davis Neale, Horrocks all to return, unfortunatly for craig littley he wont be playing this week or any time soon due to a heavy knock, he would have been very handy this week.

I will say the Bays in a tight one; someone made a comment it will come down to what happens in the coaches box; two evenly matched sides.

The addition of Cox and Wilkey along with Heuskes back after a week off makes for a confident Bay side; add to this the form of medal hopeful Owen Love and for good measure throw in the in career form of Scott Baggs and there are all positives for the Bays.

Victor get plenty of service from plenty of runners, Weetra will need to be at his best to support the mid-field while the big interest for me is on whether of not Reeves brings his A game? Hodge will also be a huge worry for the Bay with his engine and agility. Throw in White and the recent form of Hames and Jurek and its going to be a mouth watering contest.

Kernas one thing you will never blame the Bays for is playing with a lack of passion. I think you will find that people react very differently under pressure and thats exactly what was imposed last weekend on the compass side.

Dick Littley was hit squarely in the head by one of the clumsiest hip and shoulders I have ever seen. At a controlled stoppage (not with a ball up - a mark or free kick) he was standing the mark - the opposing player went to play, Littley leant forward to chase and as he did the Compass ruckman came through from behind and met him fair in the head with bone crunching bump. Result - Littley season over, plates inserted into skull, fractured eye socket and cheekbone.

Look I dont think it was deliberate as it was stupid but I do find it ridiculous that the league warned every club that head high bumps and tackles would not be tolerated; they said that the first bloke sighted would be made an example of. Result of this - S Brown elbowed to face fracturing cheeckbone - nothing done - Littley polaxed from behind with a hip and shoulder - nothing done.

Hit him from behind or in front? Hard to hit someone in the head with a bump from behind.

The circumstances dont sound great and without video footage of these incidents the AFL wouldnt hand out suspensions either! Hopefully it all heals up and hes back out there next year bein a pest once again!

if the bays playing footy with passion and determination is a drama for you kernas you better stay at home and watch neighbours because this week there will be plenty of that. Dont think you can say that there is trouble everywhere the bays go, last weeks game was a great contest with a very unlucky incident that didnt appear to be done intentionally just clumsy.

Bj stand up as if to be standing the mark - face on to your opponent. Now pretend he has run to your left in order to play on - as he does you also advance left thus opening the left side of your body and exposing the left side of your face. At 5ft nothing a 6ft something runs from behind you to apply a err shepherd and collects directly on your noggin. The hit came from behind Littley however timing would see that he turned side on to apply pressure and was collected for his trouble. Bad timing on all accounts but none the less dangerous and clumsy.

Gotcha now! Much better explanation! Sounds clumsy but no intent to do that much damage i wouldnt have thought!

Big game for the Bays this week Teffy, any master moves you can think of to get the Bays over the line against ur arch rivals?

Speaking of injuries: Have you Willunga boys got a time frame on Haskett and Wadewitz? Are they injured? How many will they miss?
