Does it really matter who Hammsy kicks his 100 against? He has kicked goals against every side this year (correct me if i'm wrong) and has kicked a bag against most of them (hence why he is already on 92!). If he manages to get 8 tomorrow it will be about on par with his average this season. I can't see a side focusing their game plan on stopping a guy kicking his 100. (even the saints who realisticly would know their isn't much chance of winning) It may work in the saints favour if the Demons focus too much on kicking to the big man.

Maybe they need to look at getting a few of the younger past players who were involved in that era (Lootsy, Feno etc) to get those structures back. Maybe a former coach even??

maybe a total club clean out, get rid of the blokes and spectators that are more keen on punching on than playing footy. what was Kym Klomp like as a coach didnt he coach out there? For some reason when you play McLaren it doesnt feel like a country footy game, it more or less feels like a trial agaisnt a team from a city league, not sure why just my feeling on it.

I think they need to find out why, after being at the pointy end in the senior colts since 2001 when they moved to the GSFL, there has been a downwards trend in the A grade results. Where are these young talented players going? A senior colt from 2001 would be about 24 now and a senior colt from 2003 would be 22 etc. McLaren always have good depth in their B grade, are they just missing a few top line players who will dominate?

It was actually Raymond Love that was attacked by a man twice his age after the game; the boys do not have a car and rely on lifts from Salisbury to get to training twice a week plus Saturdays. Thats right they go up twice just to train - being told by the association on Tuesday night that a hearing will be held on a Wednesday is a bit short notice don't you think?
I dont give a toss what anyones take on it is; when a feral spectator enters into an altercation with any player after a spout of racial abuse toward that player then it should be an automatic suspension without deliberation - even more relevant is the fact that all parties agree that it happened.
The story is not twisted at all, just read my posts - they are the most accurate

Indeed they are accurate ... from an Encounter point of view. As for a "feral" spectator, walk through a crowd in a bar with your fingers up, shouting obsenities, and more than likely someone will belt you. So why bother trying it at a footy game. Furthermore I have heard what was said to both individuals and if they spin that off into racial abuse then they certainly need more schooling!

Let be honest you idiot, firstly you've 'heard' what was said... give me a break! Because you've 'heard' then people need schooling; for your information when a dirty red haired ranger tells an Aboriginal opponent to 'hit the showers, your clearly dirty' whilst making reference to his skin colour and admitting to it at the time then that is blatant racism. Adding fuel to the fire is the use of other profanities by the crowd of the day.
Walking around a pub shouting etc is a far cry from the football field. Feral is the term that sums this up but I am sure where you come from it is considered classy.
Thats the end of todays lesson.

By heard, i have spoken directly to the individuals involved from McLaren. So just because he said dirty, you automatically think its racist. Look up the word dirty in the dictionary and there'll be more than one meaning. He was playing the game "dirty", hence what was said. By reffering to the runner as a "ranga" just shows you that you can dish it out, but cant take it and puts you in that classy society. Anyway i'm sick of this topic being dragged up, no point talking about it no more as both sides wont budge. You enjoy your version i'll enjoy mine.

Clearly your a wanker, firstly I wasn't talking about the runner, secondly you just admittee to only having talked to one side; you must be in the know. So what does it mean when the son of the spectator involved comes to see our player who was involved to apologise for his dads actions? Im done to death with it aswell however let it be heard that the racial taunts were started by the spectators during the A'Grade and came to heads after the final siren due to an opposing players comment which was followed by the actions of an idiotic spectator whjo in turn embarrassed his own son.

SA lost to Victoria by 13 points. However they get to play off against WA for 3rd spot on Sunday and are confident they can beat the WA team this time.

L.Creek senior colts continued their charge for a finals berth with a 11-8 (74) to 7-11 (53) win over the Previously top placed Strathalbyn.
Unbelievably tight comp at the moment with the Creeks only 1 win off top spot yet incredibly are 7th on the table.

Saints colts were brilliant today. Juniors won by about a goal and the seniors won with a kick on the siren after an undisclipined act. Most of you experts on here were quite wrong about the A's Saints got to within 11 points early in the third but Willunga too good. End margin 74. Pretty close cuzzy, only 126 points off!! As for Hams, he will have to wait another week. fell 2 short after having 4 at quarter time.

By the way, bad luck to the 20 Willunga blokes who wasted their day going from end to end to follow Hams. You'll have to come out this Saturday and have another go.

Yeah that was a bit disappointing. We were planning to crack a bottle of champers and pour it over Hamsy but he was one step ahead of us. He remembered that we were at Goolwa where the showers (much like their A grade) don't work after half time. I told him that he wouldn't be out of place walking around Goolwa stinking like stale wine. He then pointed out that we've got the creek next week. Quality opposition, hot showers and his mates Pilmore, Baxter, Genovese and Portlock will all be back to share the celebration. Footy smarts David Hams!!

Its not only creek that are one win off top spot JJ, five other teams are in the same boat with only percentage keeping them out. The next 4 weeks will be very interesting after having a look at the draw Creek have a very good run in to finals and will win a minimum of 3 while Saints and Willunga seem to have the hardest run and if they cant win 3 out of the next 4 may be the two sides to miss out.

LF & GA I was at the Goolwa oval sat for the A grade game and it was a great show of heart by the saints up to three qtr time, who would have ever thought saints could be so close going into the last qtr. GA I would not say Hams was trying to be smart and wait for his mates to be along side him next week considering how much everyon e was looking for him when going forward. At one stage in the third when the margin was less than 4 goals Ryan was 40m out on a slight angle and instead of having a shot he tried a 20m pass to hams the resulted in a turn over and saints goal. The last qtr Willunga just had alot more fuel in the tank than the saints and ran away with it.

One thing for sure is that which ever 2 teams miss out can consider themselves a tad unlucky and whichever team wins the flag will have certainly earned it.

Congratulations to Langhorne Creek youngster Curtis Perrey for making his league Debut for South Adelaide on saturday against Port Magpies. Made a handy debut by all reports, kicking a goal with his 2nd kick. At 18 years of age he could have a Big future.

I will give you one thing GA, the group behind the goals certainly looked like the champagne type in fact I think i may have seen a few guava crusiers in hand at one stage. It was certainly not a good advertisement for cheer squads. I think you also must admit that it was a pretty good effort by Jared. With the quality and quantity of supply i am sure that everyone at the ground would have expected Hams to have 10+ with ease.
