Not sure how they can request that . The Mallee football league is assigned as 3 points ... why should a player be worth less points being cleared within the same league... If he was to go anywhere else he would be 3. No basis to an arguement in my book . Fairly logical. Karoonda being Karoonda ?

If Zac Bullard wanted to leave for good reasons do you think fat guts Huxtable would reduce his points,I don't think so,when you have Lou boughen and custard guts running the league karoonda change the rules for them selves

what i was saying is if a player wants to move clubs within the league why should he be three points??? for instance tim berling is rumoured to have requested a clearance to peake from karoonda, i cant see why he should be three points.

bigbadkenny, krezos wants to come back to karoonda

Its designed to stop big spending clubs just dominating Dragon for example;

Toby Downs wins Powerball whats stopping him putting stupid offers to Yourself, Keller, The Richos, Chinner, Noonan, Shilling etc etc from all within the league and winning a flag???

The answer is the points system i trust you understand what i mean by this?

from what i understand (and i may be wrong, so happy to be corrected) there is provision in the points system for a reduction of a players points when they have relocated their home.

For example someone from the Mallee gets a job (or girlfriend or whatever) at Port Lincoln and moves house there. the club that he joins can apply for a reduction (possibly to zero) of his points as he has moved clubs not for $$$ but for genuine relocation reasons.

The question would be though if this exemption can be applied if moving within the same league. it wouldnt hurt for the new club to ask the question, but i just dont know how successful they would be. even if they were successful i doubt it would cause a mass rush of this type of things, the exemption is for players that have actually moved house i believe, unless there is a whole stack of empty houses at peake for all of the players Carey mentioned to move into ;)

Have heard the same rumour Baron,i have heard of two players, one from Barmera and one from Berri getting paid big dollars,both players played a lot of seconds footy last season. If true no one can blame them for taking the money offered.
