Remember, try and pay by the end of the week, Old Son I PM'd bank details to ya.

Best of luck to the sides, and Mark Dreher- the amended MPFC starting times should be on sporting pulse.

I had a look at the tigers and demons game. The demons were in control from the outset and probably should have won by more than the 45 points in the end. Poor finishing in the first half and the scores were 5.10 to 3.1 at half time.
Players to impress me where Toby Rawson who has started the season well and enjoyed the extra responsabilities. Konitzka has gained some confidence this season and has a much harder approach to his football, well done son.
Goodwin and Keatley busy in the midfield and Kelsh crerated a few problems up forward and can finish well.
For the tigers they were best served by Sam North, who has a great leap on him but not the most intelligent footballer. Ky Miller was outstandiong on the wing, he was in everything and should have picked up MM votes. Arbon, Watherson and Paech tried hard all day as usual.
Paul Theodiseau is a better backman and was wasted up forward while Theo is no star but will battle away for his side. The trouble with the tigers is the bottom 8 players in the side are border line A graders and this will be the problem all season. When they play south however I expect them to win.

I drove past centenary on the way home and the scoreboard said peckers were about 40 points in front of south late in the game.

I have not heard who won last night. I didn't go as Pairot was on TV

Congrats to MJ on his 200th and the girls on the hen's night for a memorable night

Fantastic crowd at the footy on Sat. night both clubs well supported.
but a lot of people from other clubs and leagues.
I spoke to a few from Tumby, Cleve and Port Neill.
It certainly was one of the largest crowds I have seen for a minor
round game which will be great for the PLFL. Except entrance via the
Netball gates were free around 5.00pm :)
Congratulations on 200 games Matty James all at one club.

the ball was very slippery, not sure it was dew related though just think it being the pink ball, a bit like the pink cricket balls some more research needs to go into them before they behave like the red sherrins/kookaburras.

The pink footy is a great concept and the occasion was handled well by the plfl, but I do feel that the ball had a slight effect on the skill level. Ball sounded 'flat' and looked to float a bit. Was a topic of discussion during and after the day.

btw can anyone confirm if the footy is on live tonite??
