Watched the 1st 3 Qtrs b4 getting bored and went home.
I would say that it was a CLOSE match and typically with a 1 point result, had an exciting finish but from what i saw, it was far from a GREAT match Limb.

PS. Great leadership by captain Limb in the 'B's for the Creeks when challenged by Victor in the last term, Remaining cool in a Crisis in Defence when Victor cut the Hawks lead too a couple of points to see the Hawks Limp across the line .

Saints v Strath was a good game of footy. Very disappointing again for us. As with many other games this year we continue to put ourselves in winning positions but cant get the job done. Strath got off to a flyer in to the breeze (with a litle help from the men in orange) and the Saints of old would have gone down hill big time but we fought back with a 5 goal second term to be 1 point down at the half. In the end Strath too good. Unfortunately the margin emphasises the huge gap between Willunga and the rest.

Willunga by about 15 goals
Hams and Ryan kicked at least 10 each out of 25
Mclaren in front at quarter time and reasonable till half time

Top 5 senior colts teams on 9 wins. Unbelievable!!!! This 10 goal maximum rule is now almost certain to cost a team a place in the 5. What a load of rubbish, I just hope its not the Saints beacuse they have had a few really big wins go unrewarded.

Langhorne Creek v Victor was identical to Saints v Myponga the previous week. That wouldn't happen too often.

Forget the A and B grade Willunga have the trophys already being engraved lets get onto the Senior colts!!
After your post LF I had a look at the Senior colts ladder and the draw for the remainder of the season and you cant pick it, it looks like it comes down to what team shows up to play on the day and with that age group anything is possible!
How is this for a ladder with only 5 rounds left.
SENIOR COLTS
Club
STRATHALBYN - 9 - 4 -176.57
MOUNT COMPASS - 9 - 4 -172.93
WILLUNGA - 9 - 4 -156.71
GOOLWA/PT ELLIOT - 9 - 4 -147.20
ENCOUNTER BAY - 9 - 4 -136.73
MCLAREN - 8 - 5 -129.64
LANGHORNE CREEK - 8 - 5 -108.30

Come on LF. The rule is the same 4 everyone. Is it possible that teams higher on the ladder than you have had bigger wins and would be further in front of you (on %) if this rule wasnt there? Maybe this is a good time to teach them the important side of defencesive footy and not let the other team score as much to help your %!

Just spoke to LF about this he said they have had four 30+ goal wins. Out of two of those the other side has not scored and the other two times scored less than 2 goals. I wounder how the other sides compare?

If Hams did end up with 12 on the weekend then it looks like the Saints may have the pleasure of seeing him notch up his 100th. Does that leave him with 6 or 7 to get??

I'm not sure which Saints backman (or backMEN) is likely to get the job on him this week but if they can manage to hold him to 6 or less the feat will almost certainly be achieved the following week at Langhorne Creek. Who will be the man for the job LF??

Im not sure whether he kicked 11 or 12. The goals didnt add up at the end of the game so i think they credited him with 11.

Theres no doubt hes the most dominant player in the comp right now along with Jon Eagleton who just keeps on getting in the Best Players for Strathalbyn.

Did Nick Warren break his leg Saturday? Very disappointing for Nick and the Creeks if he did hopefully the break heals quickly. Also how is Todd Watsons arm coming along? Will he get back this year? (if he hasnt already played)

Luckily Nick didn't break his leg but it's pretty sore.. too early to tell how serious it is.

Watto has got his cast off and should be back playing in the next few weeks hopefully.

Good to hear Limb. Hopefully he doesnt miss too many games as hes a driving force for the Creeks heading into Finals.

Good news for Todd aswell!

Todd Dellatore Limb? Whats the situation with him? Will he be playing at all for you guys or is he gone for good?

Dustin Hirst to swing from attack to defence, underrated player, with Dycer giving him a hand. Dont give him nothing Saints! He'll be expecting to see himself on sports tonight!

Todd moved over to Warrnambool last week and has starts his new job today I think. We might see him make an appearance during the finals if we're lucky but we're not expecting to see too much of him between now and then.

dont know who will get the job on Hams. Maybe John Jared, he has done some good work lately on Duffield and Sterzl, having said that he was too good last time for Jared, Hirst and myself (kicked 9). The key is the midfield pressure. Some of the delivery he gets is second to none. Have Willunga got any supporters to help him celebrate the big milestone? How many mail votes do you receive for 12 goals?

yeah put johnny jarrad on him, rough him up a bit, you never know he might do a barry hall and get 7 games, ruling him out of getting his 100. but my feeling is he will kick about 12 or more this week get his 100 and willunga will belt the saints by over 200 points. Would love to see the saints play well though and remain above Mclaren vale, really want mclaren to finish last

What is it about Mclaren there seems to be a lot of negative feed back on this forum.
