I know we're all sick of hearing the different interpretations of what happened but I'd like to know what penalties (if any) were handed down by the league. Can anyone shed some light on this?

im not sure what happened limb, i didnt ask any questions last night, got to training late and had to leave as soon as done due to work. Think as far as the bays are concerned we are chasing a spot in the final five where McLaren vale will hopefully and most likley finish bottom. I know which club i would rather be at. In other words i think we have better things to worry about than feral teams who cant get a kick on the park and need there spectators to help them out after the game. Maybe they should give there spectators a gurnsey, they might acctually get a kick.

has langhorne sorted its injury situation, it was interesting to see Compass beat them in the B grade also last sat. To this week, looking foward to the yank game, powering through the mud will slow the quick little fast bastards down.

After several stouches in the B grade with a player from McLaren being shown the red it was always going to be a rough day at the McLaren home ground. Bays went in at quarter time but after that never looked back and kicked on.

The entertaining game to watch however was marred by several disgusting incidents that surely will see McLaren vale reported to the league. During the game a male supporter of McLaren vale was abusing and threatining a female who was the partner of a bays player. She basically sat there and had to take it until some B grade players told him where to go. Then after the game a McLaren player took it apon him self to racially abuse an aboriginal player from the Bays even though they lost by over 7 goals (weak as piss). This started another bit of biffo after the game and resulted in the McLaren Player being reported after the game. After this had all calmed down the bays moved from the oval to the change rooms where apon entering the race a bays player was attacked by a spectator who was about 7ft and over 40 years of age. This resulted in the bays players being attacked by several other spectators and then also the whole McLaren team ran from the oval and got involved. If i was associated with McLaren Vale i would be embarrased. F%^king disgusted would be my words.

Where does the league go from here, how do they stop the spectator from entering the oval ever again and how does he become banned etc. What should the penatly be. I would say at the least a massive fine to the club and at a minimum the club looses the points in which they gained from junior matches and B grade games throughout the day.

Cuzzy this is one of your post from page 217 whats made you change your mind? Are the Bays not as innocent as you made them out to be?
In saying that no matter what the situation spectators should never be involved!!

The injury situation is slowly starting to get better at the Creek. We've still got a few blokes on the sidelines but we'll be closer to being full strength this week than what we're last week. We got a bit of a shock in the B's last week. We weren't expecting an easy game but we thought we had Mt Compass' measure. Compass played the conditions beautifully and we left our run a bit late.

Still with all players back The Creek need a ruckman to be able to compete with Steele, Webb and Duff. Plenty of pace but a bit short around the ground for tough hard finals footy

It was actually Raymond Love that was attacked by a man twice his age after the game; the boys do not have a car and rely on lifts from Salisbury to get to training twice a week plus Saturdays. Thats right they go up twice just to train - being told by the association on Tuesday night that a hearing will be held on a Wednesday is a bit short notice don't you think?
I dont give a toss what anyones take on it is; when a feral spectator enters into an altercation with any player after a spout of racial abuse toward that player then it should be an automatic suspension without deliberation - even more relevant is the fact that all parties agree that it happened.
The story is not twisted at all, just read my posts - they are the most accurate

basically mate your hitting you head agaisnt a brick wall, thats what i have learnt this week. As much as i would like something to happen, which i am sure most people would besides the McLaren players, it wont, because the league officals are weak and dont like enforcing approriate penatlies. Also with the lack of umpires in the league it makes it hard for an umpire to pursue the report as he has to drive to victor on a wednesday evening from town which will never happen.

Just would like to clarify that "Mclaren Vale" are actually Mclaren Districts, they have been the Districts since 98/99 when Mclaren Vale n Mclaren Flat amalgamated.I find it most surprising that anyone from "Mclaren Vale" would racially abuse anyone let alone a indigenous brother like our Lovey boy.Though on the other hand Mclaren Flat are fall of these animals that still practice slavery in there parts,so i believe if your after the culprit go door knocking down the stinky flat & im sure you will stumble across the hillbilly ferals everyone is talking about. But before you do please be careful and go in numbers, otherwise you may possibly become the gimp!!!!!BRING BACK THE CRUSHERS!!!!!!!!!

Indeed they are accurate ... from an Encounter point of view. As for a "feral" spectator, walk through a crowd in a bar with your fingers up, shouting obsenities, and more than likely someone will belt you. So why bother trying it at a footy game. Furthermore I have heard what was said to both individuals and if they spin that off into racial abuse then they certainly need more schooling!

UpTheShoes, how do you know what was said if you weren't there? You've obviously only heard one person's version of events.

Teflon Coated, an automatic suspension without deliberation? That's very fair isn't it? What if they disagree with what happened. If it is found that your version of events is true then by all means there should be a serious punishment but to suggest that there should be no hearing on the matter is ludicrous. It would leave the community unsure as to what exactly happened and undermine the credibility of whoever imposes the punishment.

For those of you that were predicting a tight match between Victor & Langhorne Creek you were spot on.. The Hawks came from 3 goals down at 3/4 time to win by a point! Great match.
