how can bobby jackamarra get 4 games for being the runner?

harry boy got 1 game

PLFL dont like us

Harry accepted one match mate, had the option to fight it.

Not sure what the runner did, but they (officials) are strictly not allowed to touch opponent players, and the penalties, which are listed on the sporting pulse site, are very severe.

Maybe the new set penaltys might make a few people wake up, what do you reckon MP?

4 games is not severe, it's a joke. our bloke got a year of which he deserved. didn't a lincoln south runner get stuff all a few years back?

What did "your guy" do to miss a year DJD? :?

I think the set penalties will wake a few people up, if a runner had been reported last year (in PLFL), then IF they copped games, it probably would have been 1 only. So this is an improvement, if nothing else.

Another question, what is the B grade umpire situation in the PLFL. Does the league supply umpires or does the club as in SAAFL?

For the last 4 or 5 years the clubs have had to suply own b grade umpires. They generally dont blow the whistle too often.

Steakn is your brother playing this season? I noticed you had a very young side out there and desperatly need some experience. Do you have any key position players to come into your side?

Nah mate Sam is done, he says its only a year off, but i think once he gets over the itchy feet stage he'll realise that he doesn't miss the commitment, neither will his wife for that matter.
Have a few guys to come into the side still, but mostly midfielders. I think one guy that could be invaluable given the situation would be Andrew North. He hasn't said no to playing but he's just had a kid and footy isn't a priority at the moment. Oh and i think John Sinclair will play when he can(due to work commitments)

CC - where has this information come from? My understanding is that as long as there is supply of non-alcoholic drinks, and the beer (in this case) is supplied by the holder of the licence (home club), then there is not an issue. Everything in moderation!

The "Good Sports" program at Level 1, 2 or 3, does not ban the practice of sharing the odd beer with your mates in the changeroom. The essence of this program is to change the culture around binge drinking and drug taking. NOT A TOTAL BAN ON ALCOHOL!

I would be very interested to see where the outlawing of the beer in the changeroom has stemed from - chinese whispers!

We were told definately no alcohol at Centenary last week.
I agree with RR though one beer after the game with non alcoholic
for those who prefer it and for those players under 18 is
a
responsible position to the situation. My thoughts only!

It was discussed at the PLCA meeting the other night - no alcohol is to be consumed within the grounds of ANY licensed oval unless it is purchased from there. So, unless the beer's bought from the club and them brought into the changerooms, legally I guess you can't have one!

In theory, during the cricket season NO alcohol can be consumed at any ground except Wangary as there is no alcohol available to be purchased from the licence holder.

What a crock of shit!

Is it too hard to purchase a carton from the host club/complex? I know in our league we have an "unofficial agreement" that a carton (or mixed carton) can be bought by the visiting team for $50.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!
